She has worked on diverse and impactful projects alongside notable Myanmar personalities, agencies, and clients, such as Sai Sai, Nay Toe, Wutt Mhone Shwe, Mango, Nexlab, Unilever, and KBZ Bank. In Bangkok, she gained experience at Greenlight Films as a production coordinator on large-scale projects. She is currently working at Lalicorn Agency.

Afif Fahmi was born on Sapudi Island - Indonesia, December 1996. He is a Film & TV graduate at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. Has directed several short fiction and documentary films. In making films, he focuses a lot on the relationship between humans and nature. His film 'Sampun Jawah' competed at the 2018 Sjón International Anthropological Film Festival (Denmark) and was nominated (Best College Film) at the 2019 Strasburg Film Festival (USA).
His last film 'Human vs Elephant' was (Best Film) at the Denpasar Documentary Film Festival 2020, Bandung Independent Film Festival 2021, and won (Gaia Award) at the Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary 2021.

Lopez’ Mga Kwento ng Klima (Stories About Climate) Short Film Grants. Ash is also a Vision Scholar of 2025 iAcademy’s iNdiegenius Film Lab for her project, MARIA CACAO.

Ana Bravo-Pérez is an artist and filmmaker born and raised in Pasto, Andean-Amazonian Piedmont in Abya Yala. Her work draws on migration, memory and violence. She uses her own migratory and diasporic experiences as a starting point for her artistic projects investigating suppressed narratives and collective histories. Her experiences have been crucial for building an artistic practice in which personal, decolonial and geopolitical questions merge. An important theme in her work is how to deal with violence visually without representing it, so it can heal colonial wounds instead. Bravo-Pérez works with coal, cotton, gold, and plants like coca and toquilla to investigate colonial legacies and continued exploitation in the present-day.

Annabel Vine is a writer and director for film and HETV with a commissioned feature in late-stage development. Annie Pancak Vogt is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and journalist who brings human stories to life onscreen. She is currently an MFA candidate in Cinema at San Francisco State University, where she also instructs undergraduate students in filmmaking and theory classes. Previously, Annie was the senior video producer on the features team at legal news outlet Law360. Her reporting garnered industry awards in interviewing and visual storytelling.
Areeya Jitaree, also known as Mew, was born and raised in Chiang Mai province. She is currently 19 years old and studying Animation and Visual Effects at the College of Media, Arts, and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
Mew has directed stage plays and short films and frequently written screenplays during her high school years. The CCCL short film competition was her first time directing a short film that incorporated animation. She collaborated with friends from the Animation and Visual Effects department under the name OD-NON Studio, which she founded.
In the future, Mew is determined to become a director who pushes forward and presents important and interesting messages and ideas that help create positive changes in people’s thoughts and actions through animation media. She also aspires to be a driving force encouraging Thais to support the animation and film industry in Thailand.

Breech Asher Harani is a lens-based media artist from the Davao Region of the Philippines who creates films, video art and photographs that tackle social, cultural and environmental issues. He uses audio-visual techniques such as documentary, experimental and animation to make simple, succinct and educational stories. He has collaborated with multiple organizations around the world to write, produce and screen video projects covering the impacts of climate change in the Philippines.

Brennan Robideaux, a filmmaker from the heart of Cajun Country in the United States. His first feature documentary, BORN TO FLY, chronicled the five-year-journey of Mondo Duplantis–from high schooler to the Olympic Champion. Bryan Yong is a Masters in Oceanography research candidate. He has an educational background in environmental science but wants to be an environmental journalist. Bryan believes it is important to bridge the gap between researchers and the general public through good and informative storytelling. Bryan is a keen photographer but has only recently begun to venture into videography. For Bryan, the hardest part to produce a good story is to connect with the subject and empathize with them before pressing the shutter. Bryan loves to travel and eat street food. He supports minimalist spending and buying ugly but still edible fresh produce.
Caroline Poggi was born in 1990 in Ajaccio. She studied Film at the University of Paris, and then graduated from the University of Corsica. She directed various films before embarking on a collaboration with Jonathan Vinel for Tant qu’il nous reste des fusils à pompe (2014), which won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlinale. Their first feature film Jessica Forever (2018) premiered at TIFF and subsequently played at the Berlinale. She lives and works between Paris, Corsica and Toulouse.

Chanya Katesakul is a 21-year-old third-year student in the Faculty of Film and Digital Media at Bangkok University, majoring in Film Studies and Alternative Filmmaking, with a minor in Visual Effects (VFX).
Her works have been selected and recognized in various film programs and festivals. These include a screenplay nomination for Whispers of Messages in the Fuse.kid program, and the short film Bellè, which was selected for the “Determined to Lead Society” program and later broadcast on Rong Nang San (Short Film Theater) on Super Entertainment Channel (True367).
Through her studies and creative practice, Chanya continues to explore storytelling and visual expression across diverse cinematic forms.

Chaowat Phanruangchana holds a bachelor’s degree in Acting and Directing from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Srinakharinwirot University. His directing credits include television commercials such as True Stories of Thailand for the Royal Initiative Discovery Foundation and Fight for the Crown Property Bureau, as well as the promotional film Thai Farmers with Big Hearts for Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. He also directed the music video Siang (Risk) by Pingpong.
As an assistant director, Chaowat has worked on several Thai feature films, including Ong Bak 3, Khun Nai Ho, Tua Por Riak Por (Call Me Dad), Busaba: The Spirit of Ramayana, and The One You Love.

Nink Chayanee Niljianskul has been working in the film industry since 2018. Nink is known for her work as an independent Assistant Director and Art Coordinator in the international film production scenes in Bangkok. Graduating from the University of Sussex in the UK, she has made several awards-winning shorts and videos with her university’s society, UniTV.
Upon returning to Thailand, she has worked in both the local and international productions filming in Bangkok and across the country. Nink is now pursuing a career as an Assistant Director while also seeking other opportunities and experiences throughout the film industry.
In 2022, Nink had the opportunity to direct, for the first time, a student short film at UCLA Summer School. It was then that she discovered the joy of making creative decisions in filmmaking. Since then, she has looked for opportunities to work in more creative roles, including Art Direction. After working creatively on several short films, Nink was inspired to write and direct her own self-funded short film.

Hung CHEN (1992) is a Taiwanese director, screenwriter, and editor. Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking in the Department of Motion Pictures at the National Taiwan University of Arts. His short film “Icarus” was selected for Taipei Film Festival, When The Wind Rises is his latest work. On screen he creates a calm narrative atmosphere, choosing to use daily occurrences to unveil a character’s true desires. His short film When The Wind Rises (2023) has been selected for IFFR 2024. Hung is currently developing feature film projects.
A group of students kept the air conditioner running throughout their work and rest time, which made them realize the problem of global warming. They then came together to create an animation project.

A filmmaker, actor, and model based in Melbourne, Claire Riverland loves all things in front of the camera and behind it. Her main pursuits in are directing and acting whilst she completes her film studies at Swinburne University. Named the “Best Rising Star Director” at the Melbourne Cineverse Film Festival and winning “Best Short Film in Oceania” at WIFA for her 16mm short “Hard to Swallow”, Claire hopes to continue to make both narrative and documentary films that tell local and international stories.
Daniel Edelstyn is a British documentary filmmaker, producer, and musician whose works frequently intertwine personal heritage with critiques of economic and institutional power structures.
Edelstyn gained recognition for his debut feature How to Re-Establish a Vodka Empire (2012), a documentary tracing his Jewish-Ukrainian family roots to a historic distillery amid post-Soviet economic upheaval, blending archival footage, family interviews, and entrepreneurial revival efforts.
In collaboration with artist Hilary Powell, he co-directed Bank Job (2021), chronicling their grassroots campaign to acquire shares in a predatory lender and redistribute funds to indebted community members in London's Walthamstow, highlighting systemic debt traps following the 2008 financial crisis.
As a musician, Edelstyn fronts The Orchestra of Cardboard, a project pairing his songwriting with multi-instrumentalist Nick Graham Smith's arrangements to produce folk-infused albums addressing social themes.

Daniel de la Cruz (25) is an independent regional filmmaker from Iloilo, Philippines, and a member of the Guimbal iFilm Society. He holds a BA in Broadcasting from West Visayas State University.
De la Cruz’s work is deeply rooted in social and environmental advocacies, reflecting the realities of communities and the ecosystems they inhabit. His mobile short film Ang Gadya Sang Suba, which explores the relationship between rivers and the communities, was recognized at Mga Kwento ng Klima by the Oscar M. Lopez Center, and earned awards from the Montañosa Film Festival and the Sinag Maynila Film Festival.
His recent short film Hasang, also centered on environmental themes, premiered as a finalist at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, receiving the NETPAC Award for Best Short Film.
Growing up in the Philippine regions, de la Cruz draws inspiration from the everyday struggles and triumphs of his community. Through his films, he seeks to amplify underrepresented voices, foster awareness about pressing issues, and share meaningful stories that connect people, place, and the natural world.
Dava Gibran is a student at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, majoring in Film and Television, with a concentration in the in Animation studio. Dava has an interest in environmental and social social issues, and is committed to delivering these messages through the medium of animation. animation. By doing so, he hopes to bring these important issues closer to people of all ages.
Delwyn Jude Remedios is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. He is an animator and illustrator, with a Masters in Animation Film Design from the National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Media from St. Andrew’s College, Mumbai. He has worked as a Visual Designer in the eLearning industry in Mumbai. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Virtual Reality Filmmaking.
DENBERT TIAMSON (b. April 27, 2002 in Pasay City, Philippines) is currently studying Bachelor of Arts in Film at the UP Film Institute. He is a student writer, director, and actor who has experienced working with both theater and film productions. His work and interest are deeply rooted around performance art, stories of queer individuals, collective voices, and social crisis, among other important themes.
Currently, Denbert is the writer and director of If I Were A Voice, a SineKabataan Finalist of the Film Development Council of The Philippines (FDCP) which premiered this September. In addition to his own projects, Denbert has contributed his talents to various acclaimed productions. He has worked as an associate producer of Epilogue by Xavier Roncesvalles which was an FDCP Student Film Assistant Program grantee. Also, he worked as the production manager of To Drown A Fish by Hanns Scheewe, production associate for Lola.psd by Coby Mercado, and a wardrobe supervisor for Ang Alamat Kung Bakit Kalabaw Lang Ang Tumatanda by Ronnie Ramos–which were all selected as finalists for this year's narrative category of Gawad Alternatibo. He also worked as talent coordinator for Sumalunan by Karla Garcia, location manager for Ulit-Ulit by Macky Esquibel, production coordinator for To Burn A Fire by Daryll Anuran, and Boom Operator for Thesis Films Sakaling Malimutan Kita by Ivan Gentolizo and Hamanaba? by Fea Fortuna.
He's also the actor of Pagpag by Jay-r Julio and LGBT by Ralph Prodigalidad--which will be part of the upcoming Black Beret, a directing showcase by University of the Philippines Film Institute this January.
In 2023-2024, he was the Vice President for External Affairs of UP Cinema, and the associate festival head of Piling Obrang Vidyo 20. His commitment to film literacy and collaboration is exemplified through his involvement in spearheading workshops, such as the one held in partnership with Infinix last September.

Ditsi Carolino studied Sociology at the University of the Philippines and documentary filmmaking at the National Film and Television School in England on a Chevening scholarship. She is one of the Philippines’ most acclaimed documentary filmmakers, known for her unflinching yet compassionate portraits of ordinary people in extraordinary struggles. Her films have screened at the Lincoln Center in New York, IDFA in Amsterdam, Hotdocs in Toronto, and major festivals across Europe, and North America. Critics describe her work as “courageous, empathetic, and urgent,” bridging advocacy and cinema.
Her landmark works Minsan Lang Sila Bata, Riles and Bunso explore child labor, kids in jail and the connection between poverty and corruption. Bunso won Best Director at the One World Human Rights Film Festival in Prague, the Grand Prix at the EBS International Documentary Film Fest in Korea and was instrumental in passing the Juvenile Justice law in the Philippines.
Riles an intimate portrait of a couple who live along the railway premiered in Sheffield then IDFA, won a Royal Television Award in the UK, Best Documentary at Cinemanila and was acquired for broadcast by the BBC. Since 2019, Ditsi has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that shortlists and votes for the Oscars.

Eleanor Mortimer (b.1988) is a documentary filmmaker from Suffolk, UK. Since teaching herself to film and edit to disseminate protests as an activist in 2011 she has made a range of shorts including TERRITORY which screened in competition at Sundance & won ‘Best Short Documentary’ at Hot Docs, SEAFARERS for New York Times Op Docs, BIRD for Channel 4 Random Acts, BUBBLE which won ‘Best Short Documentary’ at Festival dei Popoli & RIVER which premiered at Dokufest. She is currently in production with her first feature (about deep sea taxonomy), supported by Sundance & Sandbox Films. She was the recipient of a Nat Geo Storytelling fellowship & holds an MA in Directing Documentary from NFTS. She lives in London as an itinerant boater and alongside her practice teaches documentary to community groups and film students. In 2020 she founded Luna Films to create work about our connection to the environment.
Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Elham is a BAFTA nominated writer and director working in Film & TV. He loves stories that explore what it means to be human, how the tiniest of moments can change us forever through connection, and where hope can take us if we are allowed to dream. His debut short Our Kind of Love was BAFTA long-listed in 2019 and has been screened at festivals worldwide. His short film Yellow was BAFTA nominated in 2024 and shortlisted for the Academy Awards in the same year. There Will Come Rains was awarded Best UK Short Film at Raindance Film Festival 2025.
Eli Hofman was born in Turkmenistan and at the age of 5 moved to Israel. All his life Eli was surrounded by an artistic environment and after the military service he decided to dedicate his life to art. In 2019 he started his BA in Animation in the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, where he is now creating animation in Stop Motion technique.
Ema Poposka is a high school student in Hong Kong. Born in North Macedonia in 2008, she moved to Hong Kong with her family when she was three years old. Ema is an award-winning young photographer and has appeared in TV programmes, studied screenwriting with HKYAF, acting with Faust International Youth Theatre, and musical theatre with Face Academy. Ema’s passion for protecting the sea and sea creatures developed from an early age as she loved spending time near the sea, surfing, sailing and diving. THE LIVING SEA is Ema’s first film.
Emir Aytemür was born in İstanbul in 1984. He graduated from Maltepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema in 2009. Then, in 2012, he graduated from the MA Directing: Film & TV program at the University of Westminster in London and completed his master's degree. In 2021, he completed the Proficiency in Art in Cinema at Maltepe University.
He was a co-founder and president of an advertising and digital PR agency for many years which focused on the film sector. He took the role of a concept creator and producer of commercials and TV programs. And he also took part as a jury member and instructor at film festivals, film forums, and film project support funds.
Evgenia Arbugaeva is a documentary photographer. She is a National Geographic Society Storytelling Fellow and a recipient of the ICP Infinity Award, Leica Oskar Barnack Award. Her work has been exhibited internationally and appeared in such publications as The New Yorker, Time and National Geographic magazine, among others.

Evrim İnci was born in January 1st, 1992 in Izmir. He studied department of Radio, Televisiyon and Cinema and he graduated Izmir Yaşar University as a top scoring student. Then he moved to Anktakya under favour of SERVAS International Project for volunteering movie workshop with village children.
Then he realized movie workshop and international Project for migratory kids in SGDD-ASAM, in UNICEF. In addition, he graduated “Film Design” master student in Dokuz Eylül University and his paper about “Nature and Human Relationship In Movies”.
After the graduation he started to work in TRT Documentary Channel as a executive producer. Now, he is freelance documentary director.

Fely Felicilda is a 4th year Broadcasting Communication student from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He developed his love for writing and filmmaking during his junior high school year and was able to pursue his dream to write, direct, and produce a music video and several short films. He currently works as an intern in a local media company and hopes to study filmmaking in the future.
Based in Fukuoka, Japan. Growing up by the ocean and mountains, Gaku discovered his love of the outdoors, something he very much cherishes today. After graduating from university in Kyoto, Gaku found himself living in Australia, where his filmmaking career and passion truly began to flourish. After returning to Japan in 2020, Gaku has pushed further into all aspects of filmmaking from documentary to
commercial. Although Gaku doesn't know what the future holds, he is going crazy for that.
He has produced/filmed some projects in Japan, Australia, Iraq, Mongolia and New Zealand to date.
Gregor Božič is a Slovenian director, scriptwriter & cinematographer. After graduating from film schools in Ljubljana and DFFB in Germany, Gregor enrolled in the postgraduate program at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in France. His debut fiction feature STORIES FROM THE CHESTNUT WOODS premiered at TIFF in 2019 and screened at festivals all across the world. COMMON PEAR, his first short film, premiered in Tiger Short Competition at IFFR 2025 and pursues its festival’s journey and won awards at Oberhausen ISFF, Drama ISFF, Beldocs…
As a director of photography, he has collaborated with directors from across the region, most notably with Nebojša Sljepčević (THE MAN WHO COULD NOT REMAIN SILENT, 2024 Palme d’Or), Matjaž Ivanišin (PLAYING MEN, 2017, OROSLAN, 2021) and Igor Bezinović (FIUME O MORTE!, 2025). His work has been presented at festivals in Cannes, Toronto, Locarno, Rotterdam, New York, Tallinn, Marseille, Nara, Shanghai, among others.
Since 2008, next to working on film, Gregor has also been passionately researching old and endemic fruit varieties. Collaborating with farmers from the Italo-Slovene borderland, in 2013 he planted a gene-bank orchard in Goriška Brda and wrote a book on the cultural heritage of the found varieties of the Slovene-Italian borderland.
Greta Stocklassa was born in 1993 into a Czech-Swedish family. Since 2013, she has been studying documentary at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. Her short student films were screened at festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. In her work, she focuses on the shadowy aspects of the prosperous Western society. Using strong visual tools and film language more often used in feature films, she tries to describe the underside of current socio-political phenomenae; her films border on documentary and fiction. In 2019, she finished her full-length documentary debut “Kiruna - A Brand New World'' that premiered in the main section of the Swiss documentary festival Visions du Réel and it collected a number of awards, for example the main prize of the student jury at Finále Plzeň 2020.
Hans Rivera is a film collaborator and multidisciplinary artist from the Philippines. He directed short films which screened in both local and international festivals. He is a fellow of Cinemalaya’s Intensive Scriptwriting Workshop and SGIFF Southeast Asian Film Lab 2022. Together with his peers, he instituted Pothos Collective—a colorful group of storytellers who explore emancipative and novel approaches to filmmaking cultivated by the community’s lived experiences and struggles. His artistic endeavors center on experimental sensory approaches to the physical and metaphysical relationships between beings and places, and compassion-centric systems.

Hilary Powell works with hidden histories and overlooked techniques in acts of imaginative salvage - valuing the seemingly mundane and highlighting and creating the extraordinary in the everyday. Her work is led by materials and places – working in partnership with them with contagious curiosity and experimentation and inviting others into the process – be this collective roller skating in urban precincts (Air/TFL commission) or creating alternative wild operas in industrial hinterlands (during the Acme Stephen Cripps Award at High House Production Park, ROH Purfleet).
Recent projects involve collaborative acts of making - from a public production line making an erupting pop-up book history of the London Olympic site (collected by V&A and MoMA NY) to pulling off a Bank Job - setting up a Bank, printing money and literally exploding debt. This led to a book, a feature documentary film nominated for Grierson and BIFA awards and Big Bang 2 - an exploded artwork recently exhibited at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
The work is a constant process of deconstructing grand narratives and finding ways behind the scenes to both reveal and build new stories – during the pandemic this led to examining the realities of manufacturing and container shipping with projects supported by Museum of London and Ffotogallery.
Her belief in the power and necessity of artistic and cultural action to challenge an increasingly unjust system and imagine another way of living has led to long term collaboration with Daniel Edelstyn. They have set up a community interest company Optimistic Foundation dedicated to anarchic, joyful cultural production and are currently building a POWER STATION.

Born in 1955, Ildikó Enyedi first studied economics and later went to the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. Starting in 1979, she began filming shorts and documentaries. Her first feature film Mole (Vakond, 1987) is a fantastical and romantic film about an agent trying to understand the lives of humans on planet Earth. My Twentieth Century (Az én XX. Századom, 1989), which won the Camera d’Or at Cannes, tells a fairytale-like story about twin sisters who are separated by a twist of fate in a newly emerging modern world shaped by the 20th century. This was followed by four films; Magic Hunter (Büvös Vadász 1994) is about a hunter who is given three magic bullets by the devil. David Bowie, who was fascinated by My Twentieth Century, is credited as an executive producer. Tamás and Juli (1997) is a melancholic romance between a young miner and his summer love who have a date for the night of December 31, 1999. Simon the Magician (Simon Mágus, 1999) tells the story of a sorcerer with supernatural powers who is called on by the Parisian police to unravel a murder case they are unable to solve. After this film, Enyedi took a 17-year break from filmmaking during which time she began working for Hungarian television and directed the series “Térapia” for HBO Hungary. She also taught film at the university in Budapest. She made a comeback in 2017 with On Body and Soul (Testről és Lélekről, 2017) which won her the Golden Bear in Berlin and was selected to represent her country in the Oscar race. Another dreamlike love story that is set in a slaughterhouse, a rather unlikely setting for romance, the film has introduced Enyedi to the younger generation. Striving to solve the mysteries of the universe and the human soul in her films, the director draws on diverse sources ranging from science fiction and fantasy to Greek mythology and folk tales. Setting herself against the social-realist style of traditional Hungarian film, she has brought a new narrative and expressive mode to the history of the country’s cinema.
Issaree Arunprasert is a producer and art director. She studied Film and Digital Media at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and further specialized in Producing and Production Design at Vancouver Film School (VFS), Canada. She has worked on many shorts, music videos, documentaries, and TV commercials in both Vancouver and Thailand.
Her latest short documentary, CORDILLERA SONGS, won the Jury Prize (Documentary) at the CCCL Film Festival 2024. Her works have been recognized in numerous international festivals, including awards at the Creation International Film Festival 2018, Oniros Film Awards 2018, European Cinematography Awards 2018, and screenings at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival 2019.
Issaree is also a photographer who enjoys storytelling through a series of photographs, a practice that has enhanced her creativity, imagination, flexibility, and patience—skills that form a strong artistic foundation for her film career. She currently lives in Bangkok and works as a producer, director, art director, and writer.

Jakkrapan Sriwichai is a filmmaker and video artist from Chiang Mai, Thailand. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chiang Mai University. He works as an independent filmmaker, video artist, and performer. His short film BEING OF NEGLECTED has been screened at several international film festivals including Busan International Short Film Festival, and REINCARNATED LIGHT which was screened at Open Doors Shorts at the 2021 Locarno Film Festival. Recently, he was a participant in Locarno Film Festival's Open Doors Consultancy, Berlinale Talents 2021, and Locarno Film Festival's Open Doors: Immersion Program 2021.

James Natbais became interested in film after joining a local film community in Kupang, Indonesia, in 2019. He edited several short fiction and documentary films. In 2023, he had the opportunity to study documentary directing at the Indonesia Documentary Lab (Idoclab), organized by Forum Film Dokumenter (FFD) Jogja.

Janne Lindgren began her career as a still photographer and now works as a cinematographer and director, primarily in documentary filmmaking and music videos. She graduated from the cinematography program at the Norwegian Film School in 2008. During her studies, she collaborated with Swedish directing student Ann Holmgren on the short film The Girl Who Stopped Dreaming.
In 2012, Lindgren joined a small group of filmmakers on an expedition to Svalbard to shoot the short film The Man from the Wilderness of Ice (2012), directed by Henrik M. Dahlsbakken. As a cinematographer, she has also worked on projects including the documentary Roza’s Song (2015), directed by Lowri Rees, and the short film The Green Valley (2018), directed by Ellen Ugelstad.
Lindgren made her directorial debut in 2013 with the short film This Is the World, which was screened at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in 2014. Her documentary From Child to Citizen follows two children as they begin first grade, while The Battle follows the Kampen Janitsjar Orchestra, Norway’s last surviving all-male wind orchestra. Both films received Special Mention awards—first at Nordic Docs in 2016 and later at the Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF) in 2019.
Jean is an artistic and persevering individual, who excels in the field of filmmaking, music, and visual arts. She ensures that every artwork of hers is passionately crafted with a purpose. She lives in Pasig City, Metro Manila. She is currently enrolled in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde under the program of Digital Filmmaking. Other than that, she won numerous awards like an international award in Italy, Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area Award: best audiovisual work dedicated to the sea, for her film CITSALP. She won a people’s choice award in CineValues 2018, with her film REMEMBER DECEMBER. She is also a part of two films which got into MMFF 2020, SINA ALEXA, XANDER AT ANG UNIVERSE and SALA-SALIN LAWAY.
Jeeraporn Wannoo recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University. Born in Bangkok and raised in Nonthaburi, she has roots in both Phetchabun and Amnat Charoen, experiences that have shaped her perspective and storytelling.
Passionate about science fiction cinema, Jeeraporn has worked across multiple filmmaking roles—including directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and editing—primarily through student productions during her studies.
Her graduation thesis, the short documentary Breathe Later, was never originally intended for festival submission. However, after an unexpected turn of events, it found its way to the CCCL Film Grants and was selected. The film marks an important milestone in her journey as an emerging filmmaker.

Jennifer Abbott is a Sundance and Genie award-winning filmmaker who has been making films about urgent social, political and environmental issues for 25 years. She is best known as one of the Directors and Editor of The Corporation, frequently described as the most successful documentary in Canadian history. Among other films, she also co-directed, co-wrote and edited Us & Them; co-wrote and edited Sea Blind; EP’d and edited I Am; and made the short film Brave New Minds.
In 2020, Abbott will release two feature documentaries: The New Corporation: The Unfortunately Necessary Sequel (Co-Director & Supervising Editor) and The Magnitude of All Things (Writer, Director, Editor, Sound Designer, Co-Producer).
Jessada Khimsok love in making documentaries because it allows him to immerse himself in people’s lives and understand social issues and problems during those times. His first documentary, 600 Miles, won the Best Documentary Film Award at the fuse. Kids Film Festival 2023.
He currently has a second documentary titled Lost in Mekong and continues to seek new perspectives and stories to create in his documentary work.

Jiraphat holds a bachelor’s degree in Film from Silpakorn University and is currently pursuing further studies in Anthropology at the Faculty of Archaeology.
At the same time, Jiraphat works behind the scenes as a documentary filmmaker and occasionally as a cinematographer, depending on the opportunity. As a child, he wasn’t allowed to go out and play, often left watching the world from behind a fence. This led him to develop a deep fondness for quietly observing life unfold before his eyes.

He is a director of commercials, series, and short films under Actitem Studio. He has also worked with BBDO as an Art Director and served as Creative Director at Cathay Agency. To date, he has been involved in over 40 short film projects.

Born in Toulouse in 1988, Jonathan Vinel studied Editing at La Fémis after previously obtaining a diploma in Film at the University of Paris. He directed various films before embarking on a collaboration with Caroline Poggi for Tant qu’il nous reste des fusils à pompe (2014), which won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlinale. Their first feature film Jessica Forever (2018) premiered at TIFF and subsequently played at the Berlinale. He lives and works between Paris, Corsica and Toulouse.
Kalp Sanghvi is an animation filmmaker graduated from the Indian National Institute of Design. He has worked on projects for clients that include Penguin, Amazon, Sony Entertainment, Animal Planet and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020, he wrote and co-directed the acclaimed animated short WADE. He is based in Sydney, Australia.
Kamonluk Jirahitapat (Tang) is currently based in Bangkok. At 26 years old, he works as a Video Creator for Urban Creature. He graduated in Film from the Faculty of ICT, Silpakorn University. Upon entering university, Kamonluk became deeply interested in social structures, how societies shape mindsets toward individuals, and issues of gender equality. It was as if his eyes were opened to how the life he had grown up in had been shaped by state-driven education. His once narrow worldview expanded significantly.
For his thesis, Kamonluk created the film Happy Script (Rong Lian), which tells the story of Than, a male trainee P.E. teacher who is raped by his female mentor, Wan. He is forced to bear the trauma in silence. Happy Script was nominated for Best Student Short Film at the 28th Bangkok Critics Assembly Awards in 2019 and screened at the 23rd Thai Short Film and Video Festival. It later screened as part of the Documentary Club Theater Program 3 and at the Filmvirus Wildtype 2021 festival under the Fiction program.
He also worked as a co-producer with Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke on the film "Red Aninsri; Or, Tiptoeing on the Still Trembling Berlin Wall".

Kanin Wiboolwattanawong graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in Communication Design with a concentration in Film and Photography, at Khon Kaen University. Since first pursuing his dream of filmmaking, he has created more than 11 short films and continues to develop his work as an emerging filmmaker.
He is currently the co-founder of Look Back, When I Was Young Production, established together with a fellow producer. Through the production team, they have collaborated on and produced more than five film projects.

Kantapon Duangdee (Best), 26, is an independent filmmaker who graduated from Bangkok University, majoring in Film under the School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts. He specialized in Film Studies and Alternative Film Production, and was awarded the BU Creative Scholarship. His work primarily focuses on editing for short films, commercials, music videos, and film trailers.
In his first year at university, he participated in the “ALTER: Turn It into a Film” short film competition hosted by Cat Radio, where he received the 3rd Prize Winner and the Rosa Special Award. This became a stepping stone for him to collaborate as editor, co-director, and writer with Houseton Film, the production team behind “One for the Road” and (Not) Friends. While studying, he continued working in film and consistently pursued opportunities to create new work. In 2019, one of his directed films was officially selected to screen internationally for the first time at the Seoul International Film Festival in Seoul, South Korea.
Aside from directing, Kantapon has edited various films, including “I’m Not Your F*ing Stereotype”, which won Best Southeast Asian Short Film at the Singapore International Film Festival in 2019. His most recent work in 2025 is the film trailer for Flat Girls—his first major collaboration with GDH 559.

Karan works as a psychiatrist at Suan Prung Hospital in Chiang Mai. He became interested in making short films during his first year of medical school. His first award-winning work was the short film Rock Paper Scissors, which he created for the 4th Rule of Law Project in collaboration with the Office of Justice Affairs, the Thai Film Directors Association, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. Karant is particularly drawn to the genre of psychological thrillers. He dreams that one day he will direct a feature film that reaches a wide audience, allowing people to enjoy the stories he tells.

BAFTA nominated directing duo Karni and Saul, an Israeli British male female couple , Create mixed media films, commercials and music videos. Together they make "casual fantasy” films, a merging of beautiful photography and film with high-end animation and magical elements. In their art, Visual pleasure and emotional narrative are key.
In 2010 Karni & Saul directed their short film TURNING, for BBC, which was nominated for a BAFTA.
Their second short film FLYTOPIA was commissioned by Film4 as part of the short-to-feature scheme, It has toured the festival's circuit and been screened worldwide.
Karni and Saul's films have won awards at Annecy, British animation awards, and Clermont Ferrand festivals among many others.
Katie Camosy started her career documenting the early 2000s London indie music scene, which led to producing a web series about musicians for Apple. She has crossed the United States multiple times making shorts videos about people from all walks of life.
Recently, Katie has been working with Greenpeace, leading projects that have included interviewing people living on the frontlines of the climate crisis and sailing on Greenpeace ships to document the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and the high seas of the North Atlantic. She also produced Fire Drill Fridays, a Greenpeace web series about climate change with Jane Fonda, where she was able to experiment with live formats, expert panels, and climate documentary deep dives.
Kawin Sirichantakul is a seasoned filmmaker and Senior Video Producer, specializing in documentaries. His latest film “ONE WAY TICKET TO THE TOP” was a finalist in the CCCL Film Festival Documentary Competition.
He was also selected as Thailand’s representative to produce a documentary on Tonlé Sap, Cambodia, working in collaboration with filmmakers from the CLMV region. Additionally, he won the CP Photo Contest for nature photography at the student level. In 2024, he was chosen to represent Thailand at the WWD Symposium in Singapore, showcasing youth-led conservation efforts.

Khemmarat Wongchanthorn, nickname is Q, born on January 10, 2003, currently 20 years old. He is a student from the Faculty of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, Film major, Bangkok University. He has directed music videos for songs such as Natnicha, Catalog, Sayang Heyo, and others under KRK MUSIC label. He has also worked as a music producer and songwriter for the Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.

Kittikhun Seniwong Na Ayutthaya was born and raised in Chiang Mai. He is interested in documentary storytelling because he feels that the art of documentary allows people to embrace the emotions and messages from the story that he wants to tell in a pure manner. After graduating he has been working as a documentary filmmaker and created a team called 5W1H for content production.

In 2005, Jonghoon LEE entered the animation department of Korea Animation High School and started studying animation in earnest. In 2007, he entered the K-ARTS animation department and learned in-depth about the animation process. Jonghoon participated in the establishment of VCRWORKS in 2015 and has been actively producing animation until now.
Ngọc Duy Lê Born in 2000 in Da Nang, Vietnam, Lê Ngọc Duy is a filmmaker whose work explores the politics of memory, queer expression, and indigenous heritage. Using a blend of narrative, essayistic, and archival forms, his recent works question the influence of official narratives on shaping collective memory.
His latest short film, “Before the Sea Forgets,” premiered at the 2025 Cannes' Directors' Fortnight, where it was nominated for the Queer Palm. A recipient of Prince Claus Fund’s Seed Award and CJ Short Film Project's production grant, he participated in the 2025 Locarno Filmmakers Academy and was selected as an Artist in Residence at the Kurzfilmtage Residency @ Villa Sträuli. His works have screened at festivals worldwide.
Beyond filmmaking, Duy is committed to building a critical film culture in Vietnam. As a member of A Sông Collective, he organizes and co-curates Cinema Con Nha Ngheo (Cinema of Peasants), a grassroots initiative promoting local independent cinema since 2023. He is also the founder and programmer of the Ho Chi Minh City-based arthouse and experimental film series “chớp bóng.” His past work includes collaborations with arts and educational organizations such as Autumn Meeting, Queer Forever, and Hoa Sen University.
Leila Hekmatnia is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist and researcher working at the intersection of poetry, theatre, and film. Her work draws on oral histories, poetic narrative, and fiction to examine the role of memory and imagination in shaping our understanding of history, bringing to light the untold stories of communities often overlooked by mainstream narratives.
She received her MA in Dramatic Literature from the University of Tehran. Her plays have been staged internationally in Australia, Iran, France, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, India, and Bangladesh, at festivals such as the Charleville-Mézières Festival and the Adelaide Festival.
Her play Manus, co-written with Keyvan Sarreshteh, was published by Aurora Metro Books in London. As a poet, she published One of Them, which was nominated for the Journalists' Poetry Award and the Iranian Women’s Award (Khorshid).
Throughout her career, Leila has received numerous awards, including the Fadjr International Festival Award, the Narenj Short Story Biennial Award, and the Young Award at the Kharazmi Festival for her research on contemporary Persian neo-poetry. She has also been a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany and Saari Residence in Finland.
She is also the director of the film Dead in the Water, which has been screened at several international festivals, including the Raindance Film Festival and the Shanghai Film Festival.
Lily Newcombe is heavily interested in the realm of directing and writing both fiction and non-fiction filmmaking. Her milestones include filming her first documentary, ‘understorey’, and achieving her first festival selection (MINA) for her poetic experimental film, ‘if i knew this was the last time i’d see you’. She adores everything theatre, co-producing/directing, writing plot and acting in Swinburne university’s first musical production, ‘Meddling with Time’.
Lindsay is an artist and filmmaker of Inuit descent who explores place-based knowledge, material practices and personal histories in her experimental/documentary shorts. She has made over 45 films and received manyawards and accolades. Her recent leap into narrative with NIGIQTUQ ᓂᒋᖅᑐᖅ(The South Wind) (2023) garnered her Best Short at imagineNATIVE and a chance at the 2025 Oscars. Her related first dramatic feature, The Words We Can’t Speak (in development) won the WIDC Feature Film Award (worth $250K), and has been supported by programs with Women in View: Five in Focus, Women in the Director’s Chair, Sundance, Women in Film + Television, and the Whistler Talent Lab. Her current project, Tuktuit, on view at the Contemporary Art Gallery through September 2025, is an experimental documentary that considers the intricate interconnections between caribou, lichens, Inuit, and habitat disruption and is made on caribou-gelatin handmade emulsion. She is a fellow of Sundance Native Lab (2024),Forge Projects (2024), Media City (2021) and the COUSIN Collective (2022), and she teaches Film + Screen Arts at Emily Carr University of Art + Design on unceded Coast Salish Territory in Vancouver.
Dr. Meena Longjam is an award winning independent filmmaker and the first woman filmmaker from Manipur to bag national award for her debut documentary film “Autodriver”. She is a single mother of 2 doting kids who struggle to find time with her role of motherhood and pursuing her academic and professional pursuits. In 2015, she launched Airameen Media to produce films related to social and gender issues and publish books related to media and the arts. Her documentary film ‘AUTODRIVER’ is about a lady auto driver based in conflict torn Imphal city who has to face the discrimination of passengers. The film was premiered at Signs film festival Kerala 2015 where she bagged the Jury special Award. The film also won jury special mention at woodpecker international film festival. Her film has been selected for screening in a number of national and international film festivals in competition section sharing Manipuri’s woman spirited role in the society. Her recent short film echo also bagged award at the peace builders’ international film festival in October 2016. Her recent feature length Andro Dreams won “best documentary at 8th edition of Jagran film Festival, Mumbai and also it was the opening non feature film at 54th international film festival india, Goa . She is developing more such woman empowerment films for production. She is currently teaching as Assistant professor under department of culture studies, Manipur University of Culture. She has also been awarded doctoral degree in mass communication from Manipur. Other than attending a number of film festivals as Jury, she also gives talks at media conferences across India and Abroad.
Brazilian director, illustrator and animator, Luma Flôres is the founder of the production house Anomura Filmes. Her projects include the short film Jussara (2022) and the feature film Ana, En Passant (2026). In 2024, she took part in the artistic residence AniMAM in Rio de Janeiro. How A River Is Born (2025) is her first short film as a writer and director and currently she is also working on the debut feature film No Meio de Tudo.
Mailee Osten-Tan is a Malaysian-German and British documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand since 2017. She directs and produces short documentary films as part of Palim Pictures, Human Pictures, and Ruom Collective. She is a member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo “Up Next”, and is a Pulitzer Center grantee. Her work has been commissioned by the likes of The Guardian, Der Spiegel, CNN, and Wall Street Journal.
Maja K Mikkelsen is a Sweden-based filmmaker and artist with a background in marine biology. Her work aims to inspire change in an uplifting, relatable way. In a world filled with pressure and guilt-tripping, Maja’s belief is that the biggest changes happen when people feel strong and capable, which happens when they see the good in the world. Her quest for finding grand stories in everyday life can be found in both documentary as well as scripted filmmaking.
Maki Makilan is a Negros Occidental-born filmmaker based in Quezon City, Philippines. A recent graduate in film from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. Her film FOUR YEARS AFTER won several awards including Best Picture at the 2022 UP Film Institute’s Black Beret. It was also curated for the Cinemata Visions: Lived Lives in the Present Struggle.
As a queer and immigrant filmmaker, her works interrogate the politics of the personal and the sense of self, proposing and projecting possibilities in multiple spaces, pasts, and futures. Maki currently works as a cinematographer for independent film productions and works on her own independent projects as writer and director.

Her last film Self Portrait (DOC NYC 2020) won seven awards internationally. Olin is one of the recipients of the 2022 Chicken & Egg Award. She will be awarded the Anders Jahre Culture Award 2022 together with Joachim Trier, Deeyah Khan and Nils Gaup, which is Norway’s biggest honor for outstanding cultural effort.
Marie-Magdalena Kochová is a Czech director based in Prague. She graduated from New Media in Pilsen and Documentary Film at FAMU in Prague. Her short film Apparatgeist (2019) was granted the Special Mention at the Ji.hlava IDFF. Her next short film Shells (2022) premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, competed at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, was selected to The Hottest Shorts of Hot Docs and won The Best International Student Film Award at Cinedans Film Festival Amsterdam. Her short fiction film 3 MWh (2024) premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam 2024 in Tiger Short Competition.
Marleine van der Werf (1985, CH/NL) is a filmmaker/visual artist with a documentary practice based in Rotterdam (NL) and Basel (CH). In her artistic research she explores how to immerse in someone else's experience. Through cinema, extended reality and multi-sensory technology Van der Werf creates haptic experiences. She collaborates with experts in the field of science, art and humanities. In these interdisciplinary projects Van der Werf combines knowledge of scientists and people with lived experiences to create immersive projects that challenge our understanding of the self and others. Recurrent themes are embodiment, identity and the perception of reality.
Her award winning projects have been broadcasted at television and shown at international art- and filmfestivals like IDFA (NL), Human Rights filmfestival Seoul (KR), FILE Festival in Sao Paolo (BR), Future of storytelling New York (USA) and Art Basel (CH). She won the NEXT Talent Award (Playgrounds Digital Art Festival), the Scientist Award (Abu Dhabi Imagine Science filmfestival) and the ACT award (STRP) and was awarded an interdisciplinary grantee of Sundance Institute. She did the European Media Art Platform residency in Werkleitz, Halle (D) and exhibited across Europe.
Van der Werf completed her Bachelor in Audiovisual Design at the St. Joost Art Academy and her Master Artistic Research in & through Cinema (with distinction) at the Dutch Film Academy. Currently she develops the multidisciplinary research project 'Disembodied' in collaboration with dancers, neuroscientists, designers and engineers exploring what our biological body means to us.
Maryam Samadi was born on 7/24/1988 in Khoi, Qatour is a resident of Urmia city, she started her career in 2009 as a cinema student in Iran's Young Cinema Association. Maryam Samadi has made six short films so far, which have participated in various festivals and have been nominated for various awards, such as the films, Blue Kite, Common Moments, and Me..., Swan Summer, Karnica, and (A House Near the Sun) ), which is just ready for display.

Maxim Arbugaev born in Tiksi, Russia, on the shoreline of the Arctic Ocean. Russian director and cinematographer Maxim Arbugaev wanted to grow up to be a professional ice hockey player. Discovering his passion for cinematography in the solitude of Russian Arctic, he studied documentary filmmaking at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow.
Maxim is a winner of various international film festivals, including Sundance Film Festival 2018 where he received a World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Cinematography for a film Genesis 2.0, which he co-directed with Christian Frei.
Methat holds a bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Media from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. He currently works as a freelance audiovisual artist. His film The Father’s Organs received the Vichitmatra Award at the 22nd Thai Short Film and Video Festival. His works have also been supported by the 2021 Contemporary Art Promotion Fund from the Thai Ministry of Culture and by a grant from Tetractys Collaboration, USA.

Mio Dagsaan studied Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He did graphic work for some digitally restored films re-released in major international film festivals, and did storyboards & behind-the-scenes photography for movie productions.

He has worked at a media advertising company as a Digital Marketing officer and a content creator. He also works at a visual art company called Teralis Studio which he founded. Short films that he has worked on before include BALAS BUDI, PANDUAN SENJA, NANDUR KALUHURAN, NGUMBARA ANANTARA, HEAL THE MOTHERLAND, JER BASUKI MAWA BEYO, API HITAM, BERANGUS, LAKTOSA INTOLERATOON, SOMETHING IN THE SACK. His latest film "JALAR" has screened at the National Gallery of Indonesia and the Lift off Film Festivals.
Since I was little, I have been intrigued by art. The ability to portray a story or message without using words seems so mystifying to me. That is why I've been trying all sorts of art, and have recently been engaged in digital animation. I try to use as few words as possible in my films, and aim to tell a story not through words.
Muendaw Kamontum was born and raised in Chanthaburi, Thailand. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Silpakorn University, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, majoring in Film. Later in 2020, she participated and won a production grant at Purin Pictures’s Short Film Camp. In 2024, she was selected to the Producing Track’ program at Busan Asian Film School in South Korea, to develop her first feature film.

Mária Kralovič is a Slovak animator based in Bratislava. She graduated from the School of Applied Art in Kremnica and majored in the field of animation at VŠMU (The Academy of Performing Arts) in Bratislava. During her studies, she completed an internship at Escola de superior de theatro e cinema in Lisbon and later on she continued at VŠMU with her doctoral studies, where she presently lectures animation. Her previous movie, titled FIFI FATALE, was nominated for the Slovak national film award ‘Slnko v sieti" in 2018. Apart from animation, Maria focuses on illustration and design. In 2019, she made her debut with a comic book titled ‘Bežná’ (‘Ordinary’). She also designed 2D animation characters for feature animation film Living Large. She has gained multiple awards for her work and her movies were presented at Slovak and Czech film festivals.
Nirupa Rao is a botanical artist whose work is inspired by field visits and close collaboration with natural scientists. She has illustrated two books on native flora of south India’s rainforests.
She was the 2022 artist-in-residence at Harvard University's Dumbarton Oaks Research Centre; the youngest artist included in Kew Botanical Garden’s Indian Botanical Art; and has been featured in the BBC documentary Nature and Us—A History Through Art.
In 2020, she was awarded the National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship to create the film Spirit of the Forest. She is based in Bangalore, India.
Nandini Rao started out as a member of the Artists Repertory Theatre company in Bangalore, India. She went on to train at the Oxford School of Drama, also earning a Master's degree in English from the University of Nottingham.
In 2021, she was declared the winner of the CANNESFILMS residency program, organised by Vivendi, Canal+ and the Université Côte d'Azur with the aim of nurturing the next generation of screenwriters.
She is based in Paris, France.
Napassanan Mohtua is a third-year journalism student with a passion for telling stories about people and communities, particularly through the lens of rights and social issues. Born and raised in Surin Province by parents who are also from Surin, Napassanan moved to Bangkok to pursue a dream in a country where opportunities for people from lower-middle-class backgrounds to move beyond their circumstances can often feel limited.

Napat Wesshasartar is an independent photographer and documentary filmmaker. His work has been featured in both Thai and international media such as National Geographic Thailand, BBC Thai News, and Norwegian Television. Napat’s main interests include producing media related to the relationship between humans and the environment, politics, and social issues. He is currently a postgraduate researcher in social sciences and the environment at Mahidol University.

Napath Kaewnuth (nickname: Naennaen) is a third-year journalism student with a strong interest in people and human stories. A self-proclaimed enthusiast of sleep, Napat considers napping a favorite hobby and firmly believes it is possible to pursue meaningful work while still getting plenty of rest.
Fond of the color green and the natural world, Napat also enjoys drawing landscapes, listening to music, and is a devoted fan of the K-pop group BTS. Chocolate is a particular favorite, though overly sweet desserts are not. Through journalism and storytelling, Napat hopes to continue exploring the diverse experiences that make people and their stories unique.

Natthan works at Tagone Film Production. He has contributed to several short films, including Altai Land directed by Santi Taepanich, The Last Mission directed by Chaweng Chaiyawan (2nd Prize, R.D. Pestonji Award, 20th Thai Short Film and Video Festival), and Uncle Thong 2018 (2nd Prize, Silp Year 6 Media Art Project). His television work includes documentaries and programs such as TV Jor Nuea, Song Kamlang Sue, Chang Khit Chang Fan, and THE NORTH: Ongsa Nuea on Thai PBS.

With eight years of experience as a journalist at Zing News before turning to documentary, director Nguyen Hoang Viet has insights into the characters and different aspects of life. Nika Zhukova was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 1998. When she was two years old, her family moved to the Dominican Republic. In 2019 she moved to Israel. She is currently studying BA in Animation in the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Nika has decided to concentrate on the program of Stop Motion to continue submerging in experimental animation.
Nikki Tan is a dedicated wildlife and conservation filmmaker and director based in Singapore, known for her impactful storytelling and commitment to marine conservation. As the Content Lead at Coastal Natives, a prominent marine conservation organization, she spearheads the curation of ocean films and events while emphasising effective science communication to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues.
Nikki's passion for wildlife and environmental storytelling has garnered recognition in the industry. She was recently selected as a grantee for the Wildscreen and On The Edge's Edge of Nature short film fund, highlighting her talent and dedication to creating compelling narratives that inspire action and foster a deeper understanding of the natural world.
Through her work, Nikki aims to bridge the gap between science and the public, using film as a powerful medium to advocate for the preservation of our planet and the diverse life they support.
Nopawat Likitwong has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and Master degree in Design from Rangsit University. With passion in cinema, he pursued his studies in sound at Vancouver Film School, Canada. Napawat currently works as a sound designer at One Cool Sound Studio. His works include INHUMAN KISS (2019), HAPPY OLD YEAR (2019), and Wong Kar-wai’s THE GRANDMASTER.

Nantachai Phuphokate (41) began a career on the editorial team of a social and business magazine in 2007 before moving into human rights work with refugees, migrant workers, and ethnic communities in 2009. From 2012 to 2022, Nantachai was actively involved in advocacy for health equity and gender justice. Over more than a decade, Nantachai worked closely with marginalized communities along border regions, developing empowerment initiatives and amplifying their voices through writing and photography to policymakers and the broader public.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Nantachai left a full-time position to pursue storytelling through short documentary filmmaking. Turning the camera toward personal experiences and the transgender communities of which Nantachai is a part, the films seek to portray transgender people beyond the stereotypical images of comic relief or cabaret performers often seen on screen. Instead, the work presents transgender people as human beings whose lives are deeply connected to society, the environment, rights, and spirituality. Through documentary filmmaking, Nantachai hopes audiences will recognize transgender people as individuals with dignity who deserve equal rights and opportunities, just like everyone else.

Pakawat Sukmart is an independent filmmaker born in Bangkok, but relocated to Khon Kaen. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, majoring in Film, Thammasat University. His short film “THE SILENCE OF PARADOX” was awarded the Distinguished Prize from the Young Thai Artist Award 2023, and was also screened at the Wildtype 2024.

Panha Theng is a Cambodian-born filmmaker, editor, and producer known for her thought-provoking and impactful works. She holds a master’s degree in communication, Media, and Creative Industries from Sciences Po, Paris. She has further developed her craft through various NGOs and Media for social change projects with her startup, 606 Digital.
Her works often explore the human condition, social issues, and cultural conflicts in Cambodia and beyond. Her unique voice is informed by her experiences growing up as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in a country where sexual orientation and gender identity are often stigmatized. Panha is committed to breaking down social barriers and promoting inclusion through her art. Her work represents a powerful voice for marginalized groups and a call for greater awareness and empathy everywhere.

Panitarn Boontarig was born in 1993. He graduated from the School of Architecture, Art, and Design at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. After graduating, he began working in commercials as an independent and creative director and has been producing short films which were selected for international festivals such as International Thai Film Festival, Indie Shorts Awards, Sweden Film Awards, Venice Shorts Film Awards, Asian Cinematography Awards, CCCL Film Festival, One Earth Awards, and the 60 Second Film Festival.

Paparvarin Sungkaew is currently studying in the Faculty of Broadcasting at Bangkok University. She specializes in scriptwriting and storyboarding. Most of her work focuses on social satire, transforming real-life events into creative social commentary films. One of her notable achievements includes winning a Best Script award for a documentary about the city of Hat Yai.

Paribartana Mohanty (b. 1982) is a visual artist and storyteller based in Delhi. He pursued Master’s degree in History of Art from National Museum Institute, New Delhi (2006), and Bachelors in Fine Art from Dhauli College of Art and craft, Bhubaneswar (2004). Paribartana has received several fellowships, awards and residencies including nomination for Asia’s leading award for Media Artists – 4th VH award and online residency at EyeBeam, Addressing the question of ‘critical tourism’ at Art Inside Out in Sweden, Onassis International Residency program in Athens, SOMA Summer Program in Mexico, studio residency program at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, New York, Visiting Artist Fellowship at South Asia Institute, Harvard University, Boston, Tokyo Wonder Site International Creator Residency, FICA Emerging Artist Award, and City as Studio 1, Sarai-CSDS Media Lab Associate Fellow.
Patchareerat Boonto works behind the scenes in film production and is now transitioning into the field of social development. Despite having completed his education only up to Grade 12, he has gained experience across a wide range of productions, including television programs, films, series, music videos, and short films. His recent works include My Village (บ้านของฉัน), which was selected for the CCCL Short Film Festival 2020, and WHITE ANGEL, which was selected for the CCCL Short Film Festival 2022.

Patiparn Boontarig is an independent film director, producer, and screenwriter whose work explores social issues, environmental issues and equality through both fiction and documentary filmmaking. His debut feature film, Solids by the Seashore, has screened at more than 30 international film festivals worldwide. The film received two awards at the Busan International Film Festival, the LG OLED New Currents Award and the NETPAC Award for emerging filmmakers. It also won the Prix du Jury Award and the Coup de Coeur INALCO Award at the Festival International des Cinémas d’Asie de Vesoul.
In addition, he has been selected to participate in numerous international film workshops, labs, and project markets, including Asian Film Academy, Talents Tokyo, FOCUS ASIA, Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum, Docs by the Sea, and Thai Pitch at Cannes.

Patiphat is a student in the Faculty of Mass Communication, majoring in Photography and Film at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. While still studying at the vocational certificate level, he received a grant to produce a short film from the 4th Short Science Film Project. Patiphat has a keen interest in filmmaking and documentaries. His work has received several recognitions, including first prize in a creative media competition held by the Udon Thani municipality, and an honorable mention from the Writers’ Association of Thailand for a short story.

Pattaraporn Sritongtae, director of the documentary film AFTER, is the current editor of Decode.plus, an online media platform under Thai Public Broadcasting Service (ThaiPBS). Decode.plus is committed to sparking meaningful change by tackling social issues through curated projects, thought-provoking conversations, and bold questions that inspire collective action.
With a 16-year background in journalism, Pattaraporn began her career as an economic reporter at a public company. She later contributed to media law reform at the Law Reform Commission of Thailand and pioneered a new form of journalism at ThaiPBS known as “Backpack Journalist.”
A Backpack Journalist is a self-reliant reporter responsible for every aspect of news production—including research, filming, interviewing, scriptwriting, editing, administration, and even financial management—along with overseeing online communications for the program. The show focuses on pressing social issues in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Her journalistic interests center around topics such as economic inequality, environmental resource conflicts, and China’s influence in ASEAN. In 2017, Pattaraporn became the first Thai journalist and producer to win a top international award in the micro-documentary category. Her film Knocking at Your Door was the only Thai entry selected for screening at an international documentary festival in China.

ภัทธราภรณ์มีประสบการณ์ในสายวารสารศาสตร์กว่า 16 ปี เริ่มต้นจากการเป็นผู้สื่อข่าวเศรษฐกิจในบริษัทมหาชน ต่อมาร่วมงานกับคณะกรรมการปฏิรูปกฎหมายแห่งประเทศไทยในด้านการปฏิรูปกฎหมายสื่อ และเป็นผู้ริเริ่มการรายงานข่าวรูปแบบใหม่ใน ThaiPBS ที่เรียกว่า “Backpack Journalist”

Paphop left school in Grade 10 with the intention of making films, writing books, and creating music. He began learning how to make short films and documentaries through competition programs, where he met friends and mentors who gave him opportunities to work on music videos and intern on series production sets. Later, Paphop returned home to regroup in Hat Yai, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and became a volunteer at the University of Love and Nature, a place envisioned as an alternative school that teaches people to understand themselves and connect with nature.

Director. Born 6/12 1973 (Anne-Sophie Ambo Nielsen). Phie Ambo graduated as documentary director from the National Film School of Denmark in 2003.
Ambo belongs to the poetic and personal documentary tradition, and she has dealt with major issues such as family relationships, love, creative processes, artificial intelligence, sustainability and consciousness. One of her trademarks is the universal human story that comes close to the characters and gives them room to express themselves.
Ambo has directed a number of awardwinning films, including 'Family' (2001), 'Gambler' (2006) and 'Good Things Await' (2014) as well as the trilogy 'Mechanical Love' (2007), 'Free the Mind' (2012) and 'When You Look Away' (2017) about the relationship between science and human existence.
Phumichaynat graduated from Triam Udom Suksa School and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Rangsit University. His short film Grey Sin (Kham Pen Kham Tai) won the White Elephant Award at the 24th Thai Short Film and Video Festival.

Pia Duran is a filmmaker-artist for impact, using storytelling to address global challenges. Her cross-cultural work spans Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Latin America, exploring intersections of climate justice, Indigenous displacement, gender injustice, and human rights.
Her films and books are backed by strategic impact campaigns that raise awareness globally, influence landmark policies, support reforestation efforts in ancestral lands, provide direct livelihood, and amplify marginalized voices, from environmental defenders, Indigenous LGBTQ+ communities, to women and children in conflict zones.
Through her impact and ethical storytelling workshops, she engages with the younger generation to integrate art and impact.
A global changemaker, Pia is a founder of SineSoledad, a storytelling hub for Global Stories with Impact; a 2025 Davos50 delegate at the World Economic Forum Annual Summit, a Young Global Changer for Reimagine Climate and Social Action Finalist in Berlin; a member of the Global Impact Producers Alliance, and a One World Media Fellow for Emerging Storytellers in London.

Pobwarat Maprasob is a Bangkok-based filmmaker who creates experimental and avant-garde films that critique Thai society and history. His latest short documentary, “หอมสุวรรณ”, has been screened at both Thai and international film festivals.

Poramet has been interested in filmmaking since he was 12 years old. He started off using a phone to shoot things with friends, learning techniques from videos on YouTube. He started shooting some commercial projects while making a short film for a competition with friends as he wanted to push himself forward. He is currently 17 years old and considers himself as a director, a cinematographer, an editor, and a colorist.

Pawarit Matham is a second-year student in the Faculty of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts at Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus. He is passionate about filmmaking and storytelling through the cinematic medium.
His short film works include COW: The Freedom of a Cow, a three-minute film that was screened at the 16th International Children’s Film Festival in Japan. He also created The Another Side of…. during his first year of study and submitted it to the CCCL Film Festival.

Praphontee Sriphan is a 26-year-old emerging filmmaker who graduated from the Film Program, Faculty of Communication Arts, Kasem Bundit University. Praphontee currently serves as a key member of the production team at Reddot Creative Studio. Recognized for his technical skills and distinctive vision in visual storytelling, he was entrusted by the company to take on a leading role in this important documentary project. Drawing upon the knowledge, experience, and dedication accumulated throughout his filmmaking journey, Praphontee devoted himself to shaping this documentary into a powerful and accomplished work that communicates directly and honestly with its audience.

Primrin Puarat is a Thai documentary filmmaker and the manager of Purin Film Fund, supporting Southeast Asian cinema. She has seven years of experience working closely with Aditya Assarat and Anocha Suwichakornpong.
Her work explores environmental contamination and political activism through observational and personal storytelling. Her short film Mountain of Trash (2020) received an Honorable Mention at the IF/Then Global Shorts Pitch at IDFA 2019, while The Cost of Freedom won Best International Short Documentary at the Chain NYC Film Festival in 2023.
She is currently developing her first feature documentary, A Journey to the Universe, which received the Cannes Docs – Marché du Film Award at Ji.hlava 2024.
Priya Nareshchandra Gupta is a filmmaker based in New Delhi, India, whose works have been showcased at both international and national film festivals. Her curiosity lies in exploring the space between fiction and non-fiction worlds. Currently, she is a student in the Docnomads program, funded by Erasmus Mundus, across Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium.
Puchong Boonyarit is a creative professional with more than five years of experience in media and design. He is deeply passionate about the art of storytelling, particularly screenwriting and visual direction. His strength lies in transforming imagination into compelling visuals that are accessible, visually engaging, and emotionally resonant.
As both a thinker and storyteller, Puchong is a keen observer who constantly draws inspiration from the world around him, especially from cultural diversity and the many dimensions of human life. He believes that every individual carries a unique story and perspective, making human experiences a rich source of creative material. For Puchong, creativity is not merely a tool for artistic expression but a way of seeing the world—a process of questioning, connecting, and discovering new meanings in everyday things. He sees himself as a lifelong learner, continuously exploring new ideas and experiences, and transforming the inspiration he finds in people into stories that move and connect with audiences.

Purple Romero is a Filipina multimedia journalist who specializes in reporting about climate change, biodiversity, and gender issues. She has completed a short film workshop conducted by Lensational, an NGO which trains migrant women in visual storytelling. She is also a 2023 fellow of the Woods Hole Film Festival Programming course. In 2021, she completed an online course on Journalism and Asian Cinema, which was organized by the Five Flavours Asian Film Festival.

The Rights to Space, Rights to Speak (R2S) Happened in 2021 from the YSEALI Alumni, Indigenous activists, and CSO in northern Thailand.
R2S sees the indigenous are facing the biggest issues in the climate change crisis through the destructive projects and the laws and policies and that impacts as a serious violation of the indigenous rights for a long time. Those are affected by their farms, security food and land, natural resources, biodiversity in ecosystems, water resources and forests, including their own culture, wisdom, and livelihoods that all are abundant, which is an important cost of self-reliance. But the indigenous people, most of them are minorities, do not have enough voices and spaces to raise their own problems in public spaces.
R2S are standing up and fighting for the indigenous people to raise their voices and find a space for the movement against climate change, and demanding accountability for perpetrators ( Governments, corporate and sources of investment funds).
Rahat is a fourth year student currently study on Film and Photography at Silpakorn University International College. Rahat initially kicked off my interest in art through photography, examining exploration of spaces and human, environment concept related. Right now he is further expand his passion for photography to the medium of moving images, film and cinematography in particular.

Rajesh Daniel is Head of Communications at SEI Asia. He joined SEI Asia in August 2013. Rajesh is a writer, researcher and filmmaker with more than 15 years of experience working on issues of natural resources governance in Southeast Asia and the Mekong Region.
Rajesh holds a Masters in Science and Development Communication. He has published widely including peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, newspaper articles, and co-edited books on environment and development issues. His recent publications are the co-edited book: Chindwin Futures: Natural resources, livelihoods, institutions and climate change in Myanmar’s Chindwin River Basin; and, Climate risks, regional integration and sustainability in the Mekong region. He is also co-editor of Governing the Mekong: Engaging in the Politics of Knowledge.
Rajesh has done a number of short and feature length documentary films on ecology and local livelihoods topics.He recently completed a short film “Chindwin” on environmental issues in the Chindwin River Basin in Myanmar. in 2017, he filmed and edited a series of seven short films on climate risks and water insecurity in the Mekong Region. He also produced in 2013, “The Mekong – Grounds of Plenty”, a 47 min. documentary film highlighting the Mekong region’s fisheries, markets and ways of livelihood, that was filmed in numerous locations across the four Lower Mekong Basin countries.
His special areas of interest are media and communications research, politics of knowledge systems and policy engagement, and natural resources governance with special focus on the Mekong Region.
Rajesh PK is an artist and animator from India with over two decades of experience in the animation industry. He began his career in 2003 and has since contributed as an animator to globally renowned studios, including DreamWorks Animation (India/US) and DNEG London.
His filmography includes major titles such as Madagascar 3, The Croods, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Penguins of Madagascar, Trolls, and Venom. He also served as the Creative Director for the animated sequences in the documentary Mission Joy, featuring the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
In 2019, Rajesh founded RedGod Studios in Kerala, India, with a vision to tell powerful, original stories through world-class animation.
From an early age, Raphaël Kaddour developed an interest in genre cinema. On leaving secondary school, he went straight into directing studies at the Institut des arts de diffusion (IAD) in Belgium. At the end of his studies, he made a short documentary called ‘Buda’ about the work of workers in a waste sorting centre.
Reyhaneh Kavosh is a writer, director, and animation filmmaker. She has a bachelor's degree in animation and a master's degree in writing from the Radio and Television University of Iran. She started her career in 2010 by directing the "One Thousand and One Tales Animations" collection. This collection includes 80 episodes. She is one of the founders of Solh & Salam Institute 2014. "The Sun" and "Morning" Music animations are her other works.

Rian Apriansyah is an independent director from Bangka Island, Indonesia. He has studied film at (Akademi Komunikasi Indonesia) and at Sekolah Tinggi Pembangunan Masyarakat Desa (STPMD), both in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Ngelimbang and 15,7 KM is his first and second short which has achieved a lot of national and international awards. Hide and Seek is his fourth film he has made in Bangka Island.

Richard Ladkani was born in Beirut and grew up in Baden near Vienna. At 18, he completed an apprenticeship as a photographer in Paris and then traveled extensively through South America and Asia as a freelance photojournalist. His travels were presented as multivision slide shows. In 1996, he attended the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine, and later moved to New York City to pursue a career in film.
Ladkani’s first notable film was “Escape over the Himalayas,” co-directed with Maria Blumencron, which won the Axel-Springer-Preis for young journalists and was nominated for Best Documentary at the German TV Awards. He has since directed and shot numerous acclaimed documentaries including “My Vietnam,” “The Devil’s Miner,” “Vatican – The Hidden World,” “Gas Monopoly,” and “Killerflu.”
As a cinematographer on “Jane’s Journey,” he accompanied Jane Goodall, who inspired him to focus on environmental and social issues. This led to eco-thrillers like “The Ivory Game,” “Sea of Shadows,” and the Disney+ series “Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold,” all addressing species extinction, ecosystem destruction, and climate change. Jane Goodall supported “The Ivory Game” and “Sea of Shadows” as an honorary ambassador.
In 2015, Ladkani and his wife Anita founded Malaika Pictures, named after their daughter Maya Malaika. The company produced “The Ivory Game,” “Sea of Shadows,” and “Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold.” In 2020, Ladkani became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Documentary Branch.

Roland Cartagena (b. 1998, Zamboanga) is a Filipino filmmaker based in Metro Manila. He completed his bachelor's degree in film at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Roland primarily works with short form and straddles live-action and animation filmmaking. He is interested in laconic representations of privilege, dichotomy, labor, and the mundane. Besides his métier, Roland’s passion for cinema bleeds into related endeavors such as film research and film curation.

Ross McClean is a filmmaker from Belfast. He studied creative documentary in Canada, Hungary, Portugal and Belgium, graduating from the European documentary directing master’s programme DocNomads. On returning home, Ross has lectured at Queen’s University while creating work about his homeland.
His first short film, Hydebank (2019), premiered at DOK Leipzig, IDFA, Hot Docs and Clermont-Ferrand, and won Best Short Documentary at Galway, London Short FF, Docs Ireland and Leeds. His following short, Echo (2023), premiered at IDFA, True/False, Sheffield DocFest and Camerimage.
Ross’ most recent film, No Mean City (2025), premiered at Visions du Réel, won a Golden Frog for Best Short Documentary at Camerimage, Best Director at Cork IFF, and Best British/Irish Short Film at Leeds and Docs Ireland. It has also been nominated for an IFTA award.
He is currently finishing his first feature-length documentary, supported by BFI Doc Society and ARTE
Ruixin Mao is a Chinese girl born in Shanghai. She is currently studying animation at Silpakorn International University in Thailand. She is very passionate about all kinds of handmade things and new ways of creating art.
She has always been interested in stop-motion animation. When the school offered a stop-motion animation course, she chose it without hesitation and loved this interesting animation mode, so she co-created this project with her friend Sasipim, who also loves stop-motion animation.

Salih was born in 1977 in Trabzon, northeast of Turkey. He graduated from Selcuk University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. While still a student, he took his first step into directing on University Television. He continued his professional life first in Istanbul and then in Ankara. He worked as a producer and director. He directed the documentary "Abdulhamid II" and the program "Friends Lights of Istanbul" for TRT. He implemented the "Spirit of Cities", "Stockholm Train", "One Century, One Sycamore" projects. He shot his first feature-length documentary, Faces and Steps, in 2018, and his first short film, Maden, in 2021. Faces and Steps won the award for best feature documentary at the Australian Muslim Film Festival. His screenplay, Stage 4, was granted support by the Republic of Turkey General Directorate of Cinema in 2021. He lives in Ankara and continues his independent film work.

Sara Dosa is an award-winning documentary director and producer based in San Francisco, California. Dosa’s feature directorial debut, The Last Season, made its world premiere in competition at the 2014 San Francisco International Film Festival where it took home a Golden Gate Award, and went on to tour the national and international festival circuit. The Last Season, nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award, was acquired by PBS for national broadcast and by First Run Features for its 2015 theatrical release. Most recently, she co-produced An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, the follow-up documentary to Al Gore’s seminal An Inconvenient Truth, which premiered on Opening Night at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and made its international premiere at Cannes. Dosa produced the award-winning Audrie & Daisy about teenage sexual assault and bullying, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Netflix Originals. In addition to Seer, Dosa is currently directing an episode of a forthcoming music docuseries for Netflix; is producing Banker White and Anna Fitch’s Survivors about Ebola in Sierra Leone as well as their Heaven Through the Backdoor; and, co- producing Petra Costa’s Impeachment. Other credits include the 2013 Sundance award-winning Inequality For All and, the acclaimed Brazilian documentary, Elena. Sarvnik Kaur is a documentary filmmaker who strives to tell stories that hide the tension and conflict just beneath the surface of the “normal” and “mundane.”’ Her first feature documentary, A Ballad of Maladies, explores the tradition of political resistance in Kashmir through the work of those poets, musicians and artists who have turned their art into weapons of resistance during periods of heightened state repression and violence in the region. The film was banned from broadcast on the national network but it won India’s 64th National Film Award for Best First Non-Feature Film in 2017, Best Film at the 11th biennial Film South Asia and Best Documentary at the 10th IDSFF Kerala. She has spent three years with the Kolis of Bombay developing her new documentary Against the Tide. She is a recipient of multiple grants from Sundance Film Fund, Catapult Film Fund, IDFA Bertha, San Francisco Film Fund, AlterCine Foundation, HotDocs Crosscurrents International. I've always loved stop motion since I was a kid but never knew how to do it, however, I wanted to change that, and now this is my second time animating a stop motion short! Since I love the Earth and want it to be habitable for years to come, me and my friend Mao decided to create this project together to help spread awareness to modern day people.

In addition, he moved to MMCA Goyang Residency (2017), SeMA Nanji Studio (2023), and was selected for Best Video Art at the Film Optico Festival (2021). Currently, his works are in the collections of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Bank, Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, SongEun Art & Cultural Foundation, and ARGOS Center for Audiovisual Arts.

Afterwards, he started working in Gulf Cooperation Council to document construction progress, company profile, documenting various aspects of industrial works and Arabic drama for two years.
He came back to Nepal on 2013 and has been working in various independent documentaries, news portal. He has directed Blockade in 2016, by following observational style of documentary filmmaking. Beside that, he has been directing short length documentary every year and has worked as assistant director in films directed by Kesang Tseten. She took on her first newsroom internship at 18 reporting on the Jakarta bombings before eventually turning to documentary filmmaking. Her first short, Trouble Finds You went on to be nominated for the BAFTA Students Best Short Documentary and was acquired by First Look Media’s The Intercept. Her producing credits have included several ViceTV shows like Michael K. WIlliam’s Black Market. Daughter of a journalist and the granddaughter of a political prisoner, she is motivated in holding those with power accountable.
After earning a Master's in Signal Processing Engineering and working six years in manufacturing, I pursued my passion for storytelling at FTII, Pune, specializing in Sound Recording and Design. As a Multilingual Sound Designer, my work has been featured at festivals like VdR, IDFA, Venice IFF, and IFFI, earning recognition for excellence in sound. Transitioning into fi lmmaking, my debut documentary Lost Songs of Sundari explores Mumbai’s fading connections with its waters and history. I strive to craft emotionally resonant narratives, blending technical expertise with artistic vision to tell meaningful stories.

Tanathorn Thanalechapattana graduated from the School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts (Film Analysis and Criticism), Bangkok University. He received the BU Creative Awards scholarship and was selected as a participant in the 2018 ASEAN Film Leader Incubator (FLY), hosted by the Busan Film Commission and Busan Asian Film School.
Tanathorn has experience in both film criticism and production. He founded the Facebook page “Cornetto God” and works as an assistant director. His most recognized credit is as the third assistant director for the feature film ONE FOR THE ROAD. He has also created short films that were screened at various festivals including the 60 Second Film Festival and Thai Short Film and Video Festival. In 2012, he won second prize for a film critique in the Young Critics Camp organized by the Thai Film Archive, and in 2023, he was selected for the Content Lab project, which supports film industry professionals.
Currently, he works as a content creator for Wilaramprampra (Cat Tells the Tales), a short horror film platform, and as a freelance creative in film promotion.

Thaninthorn Ketburana is an independent documentary cinematographer and producer with more than 30 years of experience in the production industry. Raised in Southern Thailand before moving to Bangkok for his studies and career, he currently resides in Nonthaburi Province.
Throughout his career, Thaninthorn has worked across a wide range of media formats, including game shows, television dramas, feature films, and documentaries. Over time, he has focused increasingly on natural history and social documentary filmmaking, particularly projects related to youth and environmental issues.
His notable works include Thammachat Ma Show (Nature on Show) for Thai PBS and ALTV, the documentary series Project Thaitan, which follows the research of Thai scientists investigating the largest dinosaur discovered in Thailand with support from National Geographic, and ThaiEverest (Channel 5). His environmental and community-focused documentaries include Don Hoi Lot and Yut Wikrit Ban Krasae Bon (Stop the Crisis at Ban Krasae Bon). As a freelance cinematographer, he has also contributed to productions such as NatureSpy, Rice Seeds Tell Stories, and Kids Have Stories.
Today, Thaninthorn continues to create documentary works that explore nature, society, and global change through the perspective and experience accumulated over a long and distinguished career.

Currently, Thammanat works as a freelance creative specializing in motion graphics, animation, and video editing.

Thanaphat graduated from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. His thesis short animation, "SHARENTING," won awards for Best Film, Best Animation, and Best Editing at the fuse Film Festival 2023. Additionally, it received the Payut Ngaokrachang Award (Best Animation) at the 27th Thai Short Film and Video Festival.

Thanin Sumethasorn is an artist who specializes in Sound Design (Foley), creating soundtracks and musical instruments for short films as well as being a production designer, Director of Photography (DOP), and Colorist.
In addition, he produces his music under the name “tensumeth.” and serves as the Head CEO of AUBURNE, an independent record company & creative agency that features bands from the new generation that are still college students. The label will assist in producing music, video production, and art direction.

Theingi Win is a filmmaker living in Mon State, Myanmar. She was trained in multimedia journalism at Myanmar Journalism Institute (MJI) in 2017.Her photo story “Being Able” about the human rights of people with disabilities was exhibited at Yangon Photo Festival (YPF). Her growing interest in various social life stories and her passion to tell these stories as documentary films made her pursue her studies in filmmaking at Yangon Film School (YFS) in 2020.
Thida Swe is a Myanmar Filmmaker based in Yangon. Her parents are farmers. After joining Yangon Film School in 2016, she worked on several projects as director, editor, and sound recordist. Her films sparked many international film festivals.

Til Stewart is a documentary cinematographer and director based in Melbourne, Australia. From a young age, Til was captivated by the power of storytelling and imagery. He pursued his passion at Swinburne University, earning a Bachelor of Film and Television before diving into the world of documentary filmmaking. With an insatiable lust for adventure, Til’s dedication to storytelling and the art of cinematography keeps him on a constant quest for new narratives. Through his films, he aspires to inspire, educate, and ultimately make the world a better place.
Tom Tennant is a writer-director of both documentary and fiction. His first short film, ‘The Bechdel-Wallace Test,’ was screened at the London Short Film Festival. His second, a documentary called ‘Maesteg’ (producer), was broadcast on BBC Four and selected by Short of the Week online. His short film ‘Control’ screened at BAFTA-qualifying Bolton International Film Festival. His latest short film is a 30-minute documentary called ‘Frontier Town’, which was supported by the BFI and Doc Society. His music video for Cheap Electric Pink Wool was nominated at the UKMVAs and longlisted for the 1.4 Awards. He frequently collaborates with his Co-Director/DoP brother, Theodore Tennant.

Vachiraya Wiratboonyagon (Mon) was born and raised in a small Karen Poe indigenous village in Hot District, Chiang Mai Province. She went on to study Political Science at Chiang Mai University under the Hill Tribe Student Program. In her fourth year, she conducted a thesis on “The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Thai State Policy Towards Ethnic Groups”—a turning point that led her to realize her passion for working on the rights of ethnic communities.

Wayne Lim is a documentary filmmaker and image-based artist from Singapore, currently based in Perth, Australia. His work has been awarded at the 79th College Photographer of the Year, the world’s largest collegiate photojournalism competition, and screened in competition at the Academy Awards-qualifying Short Shorts Film Festival (Japan), among others. Grounded in an ongoing search for self and home, his creative practice investigates the potential of analog and experimental processes in the performance of memory via moving-image works.
Weeraphan Thavorn is a filmmaker and graphic designer whose work has been featured on Thai public television. His film “We and the Woods” premiered at the 2022 Changing Climate, Changing Lives Film Festival, winning second place in the documentary shorts competition.

Weeraya (Min) has been interested in making films for change. Min worked as a creative and host of a TV Burapa’s program, Kob Nok Kala. She is currently an independent TV producer and presenter. Min’s main areas of interest include education, culture and environment. Her documentary FOREST-COAST-CITY won the grand prize at the CCCL Film Festival in 2020 and the silver award at Handle Climate Change Festival in Shenzhen, China in 2021.
She is a co-founder of EcoCupid, an environmentalist-focused social network platform that curates inspirational projects and educational content through multilingual media.

WHAMMY ALCAZAREN is a multi-awarded director and production designer. He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute, a participant of the 2013 13 Little Pictures Film lab in Singapore, the 2016 Festival Belluard Bollwek Watch and talk Residency in Switzerland, and Berlinale Talents 2024.
His first short film, BOLD EAGLE, won Best International Short at the Fantasia Film Festival 2023. It screened at the New York Film Festival 2023 and Sundance Film Festival 2024. He is currently in development of his 4th feature film, ‘Noodles, Our Love was Instant and Forever’.

Wirada Saelim (World) is a communications and storytelling consultant and an aspiring documentary filmmaker with ten years of experience in journalism, multimedia production, human rights communications, and participatory media in Thailand, Southeast Asia, and beyond. She works to ensure marginalized communities can tell their own stories safely and with agency, especially where narrative power shapes access to rights, protection, and health.
World began her career as a one-person multimedia journalist with Thai PBS, Voice Online, and independent platforms, reporting on gender-based violence, migration, labor rights, inequality, environmental justice, and political participation. At the same time, she was also a Thai PBS Citizen Reporter Program, training citizens from diverse communities, including women from conflict-affected areas and communities impacted by state and corporate projects, to research, film, and publish their own stories, while advocating for citizen-generated narratives to be recognized alongside mainstream reporting. She then moved into research-led, equity-focused communications with Fortify Rights and Amnesty International Thailand, producing multimedia content to amplify the voices of survivors, refugees, and human rights defenders across Southeast Asia.
World is passionate about the power of storytelling and loves to design a filming and production process to empower people and be a part of driving social change.
Yada began her filmmaking journey at the age of 17 when she attended United World Colleges in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Living within a culturally diverse community sparked her fascination with the power of storytelling to foster understanding and connection among people from different backgrounds.
She later received a scholarship to study Film at Colorado College in the United States, graduating with honors. After completing her studies, Yada returned to Thailand to pursue a career in filmmaking. Her current work focuses on stories of people who are often overlooked by mainstream media, exploring the relationships between communities, place, and resistance through films grounded in listening, collaboration, and shared experience.

Yash Johari is an independent filmmaker from India. He comes from a middle-class family who has a keen interest in filmmaking, and video production. After completing his schooling he started producing films independently. He has made films on various issues like human rights, climate change, women's empowerment, etc.
At the age of 20, he won over 15 international awards for his documentary films. He wants to produce more documentary films on the social issues that are ignored.

The 1990-born director and cinematographer's passion to meet the world took him on his first aimless journey across Japan when he was a highschool student. In 2011, he entered a major movie-production company and continued his exploration around the world (he traveled almost 3 rounds!) before starting his career as movie director.
Yuyan Wang is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. Her work focuses on the impact of image creation in media, representation, and the attention economy. Her work has been showcased at Tate Modern, Palais de Tokyo, the 12th Berlin Biennale and various festivals, such as Berlinale, IFFR, European Media Art Festival.
Zachary Yap is a Singapore-based filmmaker and video artist. He is an alumnus of BiFAN’s NAFF Fantastic Film School, Kyoto Filmmakers Lab, Cinemovement, Perth Festival Lab, and the Apichatpong Creators Lab in the Amazon Rainforest. His films have screened at international festivals across Asia and Europe, including Beijing Shorts, FEST - New Directors/New Films, and the Singapore International Film Festival. Zachary received the Best Impact Film Award at the 5th Mental Health Film Festival Singapore and won the Grand Prize in the Korea-Singapore 50th Anniversary Short Film Competition. He was also named among the Top 30 for the VOGUE Talent Prize 2025. His latest short, Southwest Corner, will soon compete at the 2026 Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan. Guided by the curiosity for how we see each other, Zachary’s works orbit between Southeast Asian cosmologies and rituals. He sees cinema as a form of behaviour. Driven by agency, instinct, and tenderness, Zachary finds interest in the strange, the intimate, and the miraculous absurdity of life and knowledge that is deeply rooted in lived experiences.
With a natural predisposition towards telling stories of the fundamental truth that we are a part of an enduring community, Zayan Agha is a Filmmaker from Lahore, who grew up as the city rapidly urbanized.
He worked with the British High Commission & Ministry of Law & Justice of Pakistan to create mini web-series “BeGunah’’ on child sexual abuse and child justice, which was quoted among the world best practices for the protection of children in detention by the World Organization Against Torture.
His documentary film ‘’The Fifth Season’’ shows Lahore's environmental decline as smog engulfs the city of gardens. Zayan uses filmmaking as a tool to protest against abuse of environment. He is focused on directing stories that depict human interventions in the environment and its implications on the vulnerable community, especially children.
In 2022, Zayan's work was featured in Forbes.
Zülfü Gül graduated from Fırat University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. He works as a teacher in Mersin. He received various trainings regarding cinema and photography. His photographic works have received many national and international awards. The short animated film "The Last Tree" was selected for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. It was also selected as the best short animated film at the 11th International Antakya Film Festival.

Born in 1971, he entered the Beaux-arts de Poitiers art school in 1989, graduating in 1994. After an internship at the CNBDI in 1998, he moved into animation, working on series and feature films. From "Couleur de peau: Miel" (2012) to "La tortue rouge" (2016), he has contributed to some outstanding projects. Since 2015, he has been animating for Silex films and collaborating on "Romantismes". At the same time, he has been teaching layout and storyboarding at EMCA since 2008.
