Mailee Osten-Tan is a Malaysian-German and British documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand since 2017. She directs and produces short documentary films as part of Palim Pictures, Human Pictures, and Ruom Collective. She is a member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo “Up Next”, and is a Pulitzer Center grantee. Her work has been commissioned by the likes of The Guardian, Der Spiegel, CNN, and Wall Street Journal.
