เหมือนดาว กมลธรรม เกิดและเติบโตที่จังหวัดจันทบุรี ประเทศไทย จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรีจากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสาร สาขานิเทศศาสตร์ เอกภาพยนตร์ ในปี 2563 เธอเข้าร่วมโครงการ Short Film Camp จัดโดย Purin Pictures และชนะการ Pitching ได้รับทุนทำภาพยนตร์สั้น และในปี 2567 เธอได้รับการคัดเลือกเข้าศึกษาที่ Busan Asian Film School ในโปรแกรม International Film Business Academy (IFBA 2024) - Producing Track ที่ประเทศเกาหลีใต้เพื่อพัฒนาโปรเจกต์ภาพยนตร์ขนาดยาวเรื่องแรก

Muendaw Kamontum was born and raised in Chanthaburi, Thailand. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Silpakorn University, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, majoring in Film. Later in 2020, she participated and won a production grant at Purin Pictures’s Short Film Camp. In 2024, she was selected to the Producing Track’ program at Busan Asian Film School in South Korea, to develop her first feature film.
