The list of 4 films were showing are:

1. ONE WAY TICKET TO THE TOP (ตั๋วเที่ยวเดียวสู่ยอดภูกระดึง) by Kawin Sirichantakul

Phu Kradueng National Park, a heart-shaped sandstone mountain rich in nature and biodiversity, features a demanding 9-kilometer walking trail that tests visitors’ endurance. For decades, the proposed cable car project has been the subject of intense debate. This documentary examines what this development for convenience demands in exchange—and what we may lose forever.

2. TWILIGHT WITHOUT GHOSTS (ผีจากผ้าอ้อม) by Panitarn Boontarig

The myth of "Phee-Tak-Pah-Aom" (Nappy Ghosts) is vanishing due to the spiders immigration and human disconnection with other species. TWILIGHT WITHOUT GHOSTS portrays loss of lives and ecosystems that impact the disappearance of culture and beautiful folktales.

3. WATSAKAN (ฝนแล้ง) by Pakasit Sordsri

In Yasothon Province, village leaders grapple with drought during the rainy season, urging the government for water to support farming. Unsuccessful in their plea, they resort to launching rockets, seeking assistance from Phaya Than. However, they unexpectedly find themselves confronting the challenge of 'fire' falling from the sky.

4. ICE BREAKER by Chayanee Niljianskul

Li, the youngest daughter in a Thai-Chinese family, feels stifled by her parents' conservative mindset. Meanwhile, her brother has moved to Phuket for work, and her sister is preparing to travel across the world in search of new opportunities. The film weaves the family's relationships together with pressing issues of climate change.

Following the film screening, the moderators invited the filmmakers to share their film's journey and feedback. Furthermore, they had given an insight message as an inspirational and sparkling idea for the young filmmakers and others who are interested in making films. In addition, the artists also exchanged thoughts on the new styles and formats of future storytelling.

To end the session, each filmmaker had the opportunity to share updates on current and upcoming projects. The event ended with a sparkling message of encouragement for aspiring climate storytellers: encouraging the filmmakers who are interested in making a climate film to find the topic from their surroundings or the issue the world is facing in the present. Also, make it without fear by creating and crafting them truly from your heart.

CCCL extended its film submission to November 30, 2025 and invited everyone to join the next film festival with the new and interesting programs coming in June 2026. Throw your creative idea and kick off by submitting your climate film!
