Damaging human interventions like industrialization and illegal mining, and the apparent impacts of climate change such as extreme calamities, are among the threats affecting the Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the biggest wetlands in the Philippines.

Agusan Marsh serves as a natural sponge by absorbing the excess water brought about by the unpredictable weather conditions in the area. But due to the warming oceans that reinforces extreme calamities, having too much water downpour puts the Agusan Marsh in a critical condition. It affects wildlife habitats and the indigenous communities that consider this as their ancestral domain.

This film features these issues through the eyes of a father, doing his best to work for his family and protect the ecosystem that gives them life. By following the story of one person, the film hopes to simplify the very problem marshlands around the world are facing, and hopefully educate people on the ongoing threats of climate change by telling stories of people already suffering the worst.
