29th UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP29)

CCCL ร่วมจัดกิจกรรมฉายหนัง Avocado on Pancake (หนังสั้นโดย ชินานาง ธำรงธนกิจการ) และเสวนาในงาน COP29 ที่ เมืองบากู ประเทศอาเซอร์ไบจาน โดยมีผู้แทนจากหลากหลายประเทศเข้าร่วมการประชุมครั้งนี้ด้วย

ในปีนี้ CCCL ได้มีโอกาสเข้าร่วมการจัดกิจกรรมคู่ขนานภายใต้ THAILAND PAVILION ในวันที่ 18 พฤศจิกายน 2567 เวลา 10.00-11.00 น. ณ Blue Zone (Thailand Pavilion) กับกิจกรรม "Frames for the Future: Catalyzing Climate Action through Films" ซึ่งมี Speaker หลายท่านที่จะเข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองระหว่างกันเกี่ยวกับการใช้หนังเป็นสื่อในการช่วยขับเคลื่อนด้าน Climate Change และฉายหนัง Avocado on Pancake (หนังสั้นโดย ชินานาง ธำรงธนกิจการ) หนังรางวัลชนะเลิศประเภทไม่ใช่สารคดี จากเทศกาล CCCL Film Festival 2024 เป็นหนึ่งในหนังที่นำเสนอเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมและสภาพภูมิอากาศได้อย่างจิกกัดและสนุกสนาน

งานการประชุมรัฐภาคีกรอบอนุสัญญาสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (UNFCCC COP) ครั้งที่ 29 หรือ COP29 จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 11-22 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ที่ เมืองบากู ประเทศอาเซอร์ไบจาน

CCCL participated in the screening of the short film Avocado on Pancake (directed by Chinanang Thamrongthanakitkan) and a discussion panel at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, with representatives from various countries attending the conference.

This year, CCCL had the opportunity to join a parallel activity under the Thailand Pavilion on November 18, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Blue Zone (Thailand Pavilion). The activity, titled “Frames for the Future: Catalyzing Climate Action through Films”, featured multiple speakers exchanging perspectives on how films can be used to drive climate action. During the session, the short film Avocado on Pancake, the non-documentary winner of the CCCL Film Festival 2024, was screened. The film delivers sharp and engaging commentary on environmental and climate issues.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference 29th Conference of the Parties (UNFCCC COP29) was held from November 11–22, 2024, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
