CCCL Film Festival Brings Climate Films into Classroom at Wat Yokkrabat School

The Changing Climate, Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival continued their mission to raise awareness of the climate crisis through a activity, “CCCL Film Guide”. The session took place on Monday, September 16, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Wat Yokkrabat School (Chub Ratsanusorn), Samut Sakhon province.

During the program, lower secondary students engaged in an ice-breaking activity, “Tell Us Your Climate Stories through Emoji” before watching two short films: PAD THAI and MAXI OUT. Along with interactive learning activities, including pre- and post-screening questions to spark reflection in students. The session concluded with a creative group activity, “Drawing Climate Stories from Emoji” which allowed students to interpret environmental and climate issues through simple, accessible symbols. The program was facilitated by the CCCL Film Festival team, including:


  • Nakorn Chaisri (Artistic Director)

  • Thanawat Talksuk (Youth & Community Coordinator)

  • Suphawadee Cho.charoenphon (Communication & Outreach Assistant)



With these activities, CCCL Film Festival aims to harness the power of short films as a tool to inspire and empower young people to confront the climate crisis. The initiative also seeks to strengthen collaboration with schools and local communities across Thailand in building a sustainable future.
