MOTHER EARTH’S INNER ORGANS - Ana Bravo Pérez (Colombia / Netherlands)

Mother Earth's Inner Organs is a journey from Amsterdam to Wayú territory in the North of Colombia following the smoke, the rotten smell of burning Mma – meaning Mother Earth in Wayuunaiki. Bravo-Pérez weaves a narrative that goes from the surface of Mma to its depths. From the experience of the Wayú people and the filmmaker’s reflection on extractivist practices to plastic experimentations that create a lucid dream, an eye opener to how extractivism of coal affects life.

FROM DUST TILL DUST - Tanakit Kitsanayuyong (Thailand)

A documentary about 'invisible dust' or lives of the Thai people living in the abyss of dust, people fighting for the Clean Air Act, people losing their beloved from lung cancer and air pollution, scientific and environmental researchers seeking solutions in this dustful land and the visual allegory of people's lives whirlwinding amidst the gray abyss of climate crisis.

THE EDGE OF THE SEA - Rizkia Nurfaiza Kamal (Indonesia)

In this work I reveal how fast fashion as representation of anthropocentrism paradigm has a very damage impact to the earth, the paradigm that human as a central in the universe, humans have manipulated their environment excessively without concerning the negative impacts for the future, especially for climate change and global warming.
