March 9, 2026 — Bangkok — Changing Climate Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival announces its flagship program “CCCL Film Grants 2026.” The program accepts climate-related short film project proposals from filmmakers in Thailand and across Southeast Asia.

In the first round of selection, ten projects will be chosen to participate in a four-day workshop held during the 2026 CCCL Film Festival from June 12–15 in Bangkok. Travel and accommodation for selected participants will be covered by the festival. The director and producer of each selected project will be invited to join the workshop to develop and refine their storytelling and present their projects in a pitching session to a panel of judges.
Following the workshop, at least five projects will be selected to receive production grants of up to THB 75,000 (approximately USD 2,400) each to support the production of their short films.
Eligible proposals must be for short films with a final runtime of no more than 15 minutes, with no restrictions on storytelling approach or format. Projects should explore themes related to the climate crisis, including climate migration, the impacts of climate change on children, women, and marginalized communities, food security, climate policy, health and climate change, and the role of AI, innovation, and technology in addressing climate challenges.
