Laem Chabang Port is undergoing its third phase of construction under the EEC plan, aimed at transforming Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao into an industrial hub. Over the past 30 years, residents of Bang Lamung have faced changes the government views as progress. For local fishermen, however, these developments have become a crisis, eroding traditional livelihoods, depleting marine resources, and threatening homes.
