TUTU TENO: THE SONG FOR THE BEES

In the hills of rural Timor Island, a traditional leader watches the bees he once trusted slowly disappear. The hum that used to fill the forest has grown faint, and with it, the sweet harvest that sustained his people fades away. As the seasons shift and flowers bloom out of rhythm, he clings to the old rituals—songs, ceremonies, and shared stories—that once honored the bees. For him, protecting their way of life now means fighting to keep both nature and tradition alive.

บนเนินเขาในชนบทบนเกาะติมอร์ ผู้นำชุมชนคนหนึ่งเฝ้ามองผึ้งที่เคยอุดมสมบูรณ์ค่อย ๆ หายไป เสียงหึ่งที่เคยก้องป่ากลับแผ่วลง น้ำผึ้งที่เคยหล่อเลี้ยงผู้คนเริ่มเลือนหาย เมื่อฤดูกาลแปรปรวนทำให้ดอกไม้บานผิดช่วงเวลา ในขณะเดียวกันเขายังคงยึดมั่นในประเพณี บทเพลง และเรื่องเล่าความผูกพันที่มีต่อผึ้ง เพราะสำหรับเขา การปกป้องวิถีชีวิตในวันนี้ คือการรักษาทั้งธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรมให้คงอยู่
