CCCL ร่วมจัดฉายหนังสั้นในโปรแกรม ‘Through Their Eyes: Stories from Climate-Affected Communities’ และสนทนากับคนทำหนังและตัวแทนจาก IOM ในการประชุมสัมมนาระดับภูมิภาค ครั้งที่ 2 เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2568 ณ โรงแรม Pullman Bangkok Hotel G

สำหรับโปรแกรมภาพยนตร์ CCCL คัดเลือกหนังสั้นประเด็นการอพยพย้ายถิ่นจำนวน 3 เรื่อง ดังต่อไปนี้

• Reflection in the Marsh โดย Breech Asher Harani จากประเทศฟิลิปปินส์

• The Swallowing Sea โดย Afif Fahmi จากประเทศอินโดนีเซีย

• Lost in Mekong โดย เจษฎา ขิมสุข  จากประเทศไทย

หลังจบการฉายภาพยนตร์ ดร. บุษกร สุริยสาร หัวหน้าทีมและตัวแทนจาก CCCL ได้ร่วมพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับคุณ Breech Asher Harani ซึ่งเป็น CCCL Film Grant Alumni ประจำปี 2023 และผู้กำกับหนังสั้น เรื่อง Reflection in the Marsh จากประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ และคุณ Itayi Viriri ผู้ดูแลสื่อและการสื่อสาร จาก IOM ถึงผลกระทบจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Climate Change) ที่ทำให้ผู้คนต้องอพยพย้ายถิ่นฐาน อีกทั้งยังพูดถึง ‘หนังสั้น คือ กุญแจสำคัญ’ ในการสร้างความตระหนักรู้และความตื่นตัวต่อผู้คนทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับประเด็นดังกล่าวด้วย

On June 25, 2025, CCCL co-hosted a short film screening program titled “Through Their Eyes: Stories from Climate-Affected Communities” at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, as part of the 2nd Regional Seminar.

The program featured three short films that highlight migration issues:

• Reflection in the Marsh by Breech Asher Harani (Philippines)

• The Swallowing Sea by Afif Fahmi (Indonesia)

• Lost in Mekong by Jessada Khimsook (Thailand)

Following the screenings, Dr. Bussakorn Suriyasarn, Team Lead and CCCL representative, joined a panel discussion with Breech Asher Harani, a 2023 CCCL Film Grant alumnus and director of Reflection in the Marsh, and Itayi Viriri, Media and Communications Officer from IOM. The discussion addressed the ways in which climate change drives migration and displacement. It also highlighted the role of short films as an effective tool for raising awareness and engaging the public on these pressing issues.

After the screenings, Siriporn Sriaram, the lead organizer, joined a conversation with filmmakers and producers: Napat Wesshasartar (Panare, Ship on the Shore), Thanapat Puangsuwan and Ong-on Jongprasith (Ultramarine), and Jessada Khimsok (Red Ocean). They discussed their inspirations, their interest in environmental issues, climate change, and upcoming projects. The session emphasized how short films can serve as a voice to raise awareness and keep the public engaged with the climate crisis.

Thailand Ocean Week 2025 was held from June 8–13, organized by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources together with the 30x30 Thailand Coalition, the French Embassy, the French Development Agency (AFD), and other partners.

CCCL joined the screening of the short film CONE (콘) by director Yoo Ji-in to raise awareness about plastic and waste management at Plastic Doc&Talk, organized by Greenpeace Thailand on July 5, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Lido Connect.

CCCL ได้ร่วมฉายหนังสั้น ‘LOST IN MEKONG’ โดย เจษฎา ขิมสุข และ ‘ไคร้เจ้าอยู่ไส’  โดย กิตติคุณ เสนีวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา พร้อมพูดคุยกับผู้กำกับ เจษฎา ขิมสุข ในกิจกรรม "ปิดเทอมสร้างสรรค์" เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤษภาคม 2568 ที่ ศูนย์โฮมฮักแม่น้ำโขง ต.บ้านม่วง อ.สังคม จ.หนองคาย

กิจกรรม "ปิดเทอมสร้างสรรค์" เป็นกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ในช่วงปิดเทอมสำหรับน้อง ๆ จากโรงเรียนปากชมวิทยา, โรงเรียนวังม่วงพิทยาคม, โรงเรียนบ้านวังม่วง และโรงเรียนบ้านหนอง จัดโดย Nongkhai & Friends ร่วมกับ สมาคมเครือข่ายสภาองค์กรชุมชนลุ่มน้ำโขง 7 จังหวัดภาคอีสาน และ Hug Mekong ASEAN YOUTH 

โดยมีกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย :

1. ไคร้เจ้าอยู่ไส (DEAR KHRAI, FROM NOWHERE) โดย กิตติคุณ เสนีวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา

พันโขดแสนไคร้ ที่ ๆ รายล้อมไปด้วยโขดหลักพัน และต้นไคร้หลักแสน ตั้งอยู่ที่ บ้านม่วง อำเภอสังคม จังหวัดหนองคาย ต้นไคร้และแม่น้ำโขงไหลพัดพาความสุข ความหลากหลายทางอาหาร และระบบนิเวศที่สมบูรณ์ ให้กับชีวิตผู้คนที่นั้นมาอย่างยาวนาน แต่ในวันหนึ่งทุกอย่างก็เปลี่ยนไป เมื่อราชินีแห่งลุ่มนํ้าอย่างต้นไคร้ หายไปอย่างยากที่จะย้อนกลับ

2. LOST IN MEKONG โดย เจษฎา ขิมสุข

แม่น้ำโขง มีกรรมสิทธิ์บนผืนน้ำที่ชาวบ้านต่างยึดถือเสมือนกฎหมายของชุมชน ในการประกอบอาชีพประมงร่วมกัน และสืบทอดมาหลายชั่วอายุคน จนกลายเป็นประเพณีเรียกว่า “ลวงมอง” แต่เมื่อแม่น้ำโขงเปลี่ยนแปลง วิถีแห่ง “ลวงมอง” ก็มาถึงจุดพลิกผัน ส่งผลกระทบต่อหลายชีวิต และบางครอบครัวราวกับถูกฉีกออกเป็นชิ้นๆ

CCCL joined the screening of two short films, LOST IN MEKONG by Jessada Khimsook and DEAR KHRAI, FROM NOWHERE (ไคร้เจ้าอยู่ไส) by Kittikhun Seniwong Na Ayutthaya, along with a talk with director Jessada Khimsook at the “Creative Summer Break” activity on May 17, 2025, at the Home Hug Mekong Center, Ban Muang Subdistrict, Sangkhom District, Nong Khai.

Creative Summer Break is a school holiday activity designed for students from Pakchom Wittaya School, Wang Muang Pittayakom School, Ban Wang Muang School, and Ban Nong School. It was organized by Nongkhai & Friends, in collaboration with the Community Organization Council Network of 7 Northeastern Mekong Provinces and Hug Mekong ASEAN Youth.

The program included a variety of activities such as:

• Reading and book review sharing

• A workshop on creating short video clips about “My Mekong River”

• Collecting garbage and removing giant mimosa weeds from the Mekong River

• Exploring nature by boat rides, beach walks, and sunset viewing at Phan Khod Saen Krai

• Documentary film screenings and exchanges with filmmakers

• Creative art activities like beadwork and bracelet making

CCCL Films Screened at “Creative Summer Break”

1. DEAR KHRAI, FROM NOWHERE (ไคร้เจ้าอยู่ไส) - Kittikhun Seniwong Na Ayutthaya

'A thousand rocks, a hundred thousand Khrai' is found in Sangkhom district, Nong Khai province. Khrai (water willows) and the Mekong river have been bringing happiness, abundance of food and ecosystem stability to people’s lives here for a long time. Recently everything has irreversibly changed when Khrai, queen of the river disappeared.

2. LOST IN MEKONG - Jessada Khimsook

The Mekong River, revered with water ownership by villagers as community law, shapes a tradition known as 'Luang Mong' in joint fishing. However, as the river undergoes changes, the practice of 'deception' takes a pivotal turn, impacting lives and tearing some families apart.

CCCL participated in the screening of the short film Urban Flames (เปลวไฟเมือง) by director Atawee Khositpatipat at the event “Sweat, Drought, and Labor… Films, Talks, Touring Isan” on May 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM onwards at ALIEN Artspace, Mueang District, Khon Kaen.

The event also featured a panel discussion titled “Roofs, Corrugated Metal, Concrete Jungle: Voices of Urban Workers, Days of Struggle in a Changing World”, with:

• Nattawut Kromphakdee, founder of OKAS Khon Kaen

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapauge Chamaratana, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University

• Yosita Singharam, representative of Khon Kaen’s urban laborers

CCCL ร่วมฉายหนังสั้น 3 เรื่องในงานกิจกรรมธรรม Trip ปัตตานี เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2568 เวลา 19.30 น. ณ ห้องสมุดกำปงบูกู ชั้น 2 ร้านอาหารมิตรไมตรี ปัตตานี

คณะธรรม Trip พบปะมิตรใหม่ผ่านการร่วมดูภาพยนตร์สั้นเกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อม เมื่อหนังเรื่องสุดท้ายจบลง ชาวคณะทั้งพระและโยมสะท้อนว่าพวกเขามีความท้อและความหวังในคราวเดียวกัน หนังทั้งหมดที่เราได้ดูกันเป็นการยกปัญหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยเฉพาะที่มาจาก "ปัญหาขยะ" ซึ่งเป็นเรื่อง ดร.ณัฐพงศ์ นิธิอุทัย” ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งกลุ่ม Trash Hero Pattani (ผู้จัดกิจกรรมดูหนัง) พยายามขับเคลื่อน

1. AKKHA DIN, AKKHI RAAT (ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT) โดย Priya Naresh, Palak Patel, Aniket Kolarkar

สารคดีเรื่องนี้ชวนคุณสำรวจสายสัมพันธ์ของน้ำกับชีวิตของเด็กสาววัย 13 ปีที่อาศัยอยู่ใกล้กับกองขยะขนาดมหึมามหาศาลในเมืองอะห์มดาบาด ประเทศอินเดีย การต่อสู้ดิ้นรนเพื่อน้ำสะอาดท่ามกลางแหล่งน้ำที่มีการปนเปื้อน การกระจายน้ำอันย่ำแย่ และสถานการณ์ในหน้าฝนเมื่อน้ำสกปรกจากกองขยะไหลบ่าลงมา ยิ่งฉายชัดถึงความเปราะบางของชีวิตที่ต้องกล้ำกลืนฝืนทนในสภาวะที่ขาดแคลนน้ำสะอาดซึ่งจำเป็นอย่างมากต่อการดำรงชีพ

2. LIFE IN THE SALT WATER (নোনা জলে জীবন) โดย Samiur Rahman

สารคดีถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของผู้หญิงในชุมชนชายฝั่งของเมืองชยัมนคร ประเทศบังกลาเทศ ที่กำลังเผชิญกับระดับน้ำทะเลที่สูงขึ้นทำให้คนในชุมชนต้องอุปโภคบริโภคน้ำเค็มเพื่อการดำรงชีวิต ซึงปัญหานี้เองทำให้ชาวบ้านโดยเฉพาะกลุ่มผู้หญิง ต้องเผชิญกับปัญหาสุขภาพและความยากลำบากทางเศรษฐกิจ

3, OLD TIMES โดย Chaela Tordillo

ชาวประมงวัยเกษียณกลับมายังบ้านเกิดของเขาที่กำลังจมลงทะเล เนื่องจากระดับน้ำทะเลที่สูงขึ้นและแผ่นดินทรุดตัว

CCCL participated in the screening of three short films at the Tham Trip Pattani event on May 8, 2025, at 7:30 PM, held at the Kampong Buku Library, 2nd floor of Mit Maitri Restaurant, Pattani.

During the event, participants of Tham Trip met new friends through watching environmental short films. After the final screening, both monks and laypeople reflected on feeling both discouraged and hopeful at the same time. All the films highlighted environmental issues, especially problems caused by waste, which Dr. Natthapong Nithiuthai, co-founder of Trash Hero Pattani and organizer of the film screening, has been striving to address.

The CCCL films screened at Tham Trip Pattani included:

1. Akkha Din, Akkhi Raat (All Day and All of the Night) by Priya Naresh, Palak Patel, Aniket Kolarkar

This documentary explores the bond between a 13-year-old girl and water in Ahmedabad’s largest landfill area. Amid contaminated borewells, poor water distribution, and monsoon floods from the landfill, the narrative unfolds her daily struggle for clean water. The film highlights resilience and humanity’s fragile connection to water in the face of adversity.

2. Life in the Salt Water (নোনা জলে জীবন) by Samiur Rahman

The documentary "Life in Salt Water" portrays the resilience of coastal women in Shyamnagar, Bangladesh, facing rising sea levels and water-related challenges. It emphasizes their daily struggle, discussing issues like health problems and economic hardship.

3. Old Times by Chaela Tordillo

A retired fisherman returns to his old hometown that is steadily sinking due to rising sea levels and land subsidence.

พร้อมพบกับเพื่อนนักเปลี่ยนแปลงที่มีเป้าหมายเดียวกัน ไขข้อท้าทายด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ และเข้าร่วม RAYS 2025—การประชุมสุดยอดสิ่งแวดล้อมและความยั่งยืนที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในอาเซียน

CCCL participated in the screening of the short film "MY VILLAGE (บ้านของฉัน)" by Paitoon Kiwphawan and Nattakanet Thongyusuk at Youth Change Maker x RAYS 2025. The event took place on April 6, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Qottontale Cafe (BTS Ploenchit).

Attendees had the opportunity to meet fellow change-makers with shared goals, explore challenges related to climate change, and participate in RAYS 2025, the largest environmental and sustainability summit in ASEAN.

1. ENOUGH - อัปสร โอริญาเบลล์ เมนิล Absone Oriabel Mesnil

ภาพยนตร์สั้นที่ถ่ายทอดชีวิตของลิลา นักออกแบบสาววัย 20 ปลาย ๆ ผู้หลงใหลในการดำเนินกิจวัตรยามเช้าอย่างละเมียดละไม หากชีวิตไม่อาจเป็นเช่นนี้ได้ในทุกมิติ เมื่อเธอต้องเผชิญกับความเป็นจริงที่ปลุกให้เธอต้องรู้รับและปรับตัวเพื่อแสวงหาแนวทางอันยั่งยืน

ENOUGH is a slice-of-life short film that follows Lila, a designer in her late 20s, as she navigates what appears to be a typical, meticulously planned morning routine. However, all is not as it seems when she confronts a stark reality, leading to a life-altering decision.

2. PAD THAI (ผัดไทย) - วีรยา วิชยประเสริฐกุล Weeraya Vichayaprasertkul

สารคดีสะท้อนปัญหาภาวะโลกร้อนและการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ผ่านเมนู “ผัดไทย” หนึ่งในสุดยอดอาหารไทยที่คนทั่วโลกต่างรู้จัก

"Pad Thai" is a documentary reflecting climate change through one of the most famous Thai dishes in the world.

3. HEAR THE UNHEARD - ศาศวัต เลิศฤทธิ์ Sasawat Lertrit

การนั่งพูดคุยในกลุ่มบำบัดที่กล่าวถึงคาวมเป็นจริง และความเจ็บปวดที่เกิดจาก ‘แฟชั่น’ ผ่านบนสนทนาจากรากฐานความเข้าใจ มุ่งหวังให้มีการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์และโลก

A group therapy session brings out truths and mutual pains caused by ‘fashion’ through a compassionate conversation hoped to connect human and Earth.

4. FOREST-COAST-CITY (ป่า-ฝั่ง-เมือง) - วีรยา วิชยประเสริฐกุล Weeraya Vichayaprasertkul

สารคดีสั้นสะท้อนให้เห็นความสวยงามของกลุ่มคนเล็ก ๆ ในไทย 3 กลุ่ม ตั้งแต่คนในเมือง คนที่อยู่ชายฝั่ง และคนในป่า ที่มีการจัดการบางอย่างที่สามารถช่วยลดคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์และมีเทน ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุหลักของภาวะโลกร้อน

A documentary reflecting the beauty of three small groups of people in Thailand; people in the city, along the coast and in the forest. Each group has their own methods in helping to reduce CO2 and Methane which are two of the gases responsible for global warming

เมย์หญิงสาวที่ใช้ชีวิตอย่างฟุ่มเฟือยและไม่เห็นคุณค่าของสิ่งของ ที่กำลังตามกระแสแฟชั่น หรือ ที่เรียกว่า Fast Fashion หนึ่งในปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดภาวะโลกร้อนอย่างรุนแรง จนกระทั่ง เมย์ ได้พบกับ “โป” เสื้อตัวเก่าของเมย์ที่มีชีวิตขึ้นมาเพราะเมย์กำลังไม่เห็นคุณค่าของเสื้อผ้า และ ปัญหาของโลกที่กำลังจะตามมา โป ได้ทำให้ เมย์ ได้เห็นถึงสิ่งที่ เธอได้ทำลงไป จึงทำให้เมย์ได้เปลี่ยนมุมมองต่อการกระทำของเธอไปตลอดกาล

This is a story about May, a university student that thoroughly enjoy catching up with all the latest fashion trends and regularly purchase new garments. One day, her clothing came to life and took her on a journey to the future, twenty years from now. May got glimpses of the world with fast fashion and the impacts of textile industry which she has never comprehended before.

CU Marketplace, the green-themed second-hand market, was organized by the Student Union of Chulalongkorn University (SUCU) and the Social Development and Volunteer Affairs Division of SUCU, with the film program managed by the Environmental and Sustainability Affairs Division of SUCU (SGCU).

เมื่อวันที่ 25 มกราคม 2568 เวลา 18.30 - 20.00 น. CCCL ร่วมฉายหนังจำนวน 5 เรื่องในกิจกรรม ‘สิ่งแวดล้อมในอ้อมกอดภาพยนตร์’ ในงาน เทศกาลศิลปะเพื่อการจัดการภัยพิบัติแม่น้ำโขง ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25 - 27 มกราคม 2568 ที่ห้องประชุม ชั้น 1 เทศบาลเมืองหนองคาย จวนผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดหนองคาย (หลังเดิม)

หนังจาก CCCL ฉายในงานเทศกาลศิลปะเพื่อการจัดการภัยพิบัติแม่น้ำโขง ได้แก่

1. AVOCADO ON PANCAKES - ชินานาง ธำรงธนกิจการ 

แจ๊คกับโรสแอบเป็นชู้กันในบริษัท ทั้งคู่ไปดื่มฉลองที่ร้านอิซากายะกันสองต่อสองและเริ่มมีปากเสียงกัน

2. EVERYTHING IS FINE - อารียา จิตอารี

เด็กสาวค้นพบเรื่องจริงของสิ่งแวดล้อมและพยายามเปลี่ยนแปลงเมืองของตน

3. THE WHOPPER (โกหกคำโต) - วีระพรรณ  ถาวร

ในดินแดนมรดกโลก พื้นที่รอยต่ออุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ โดยภาครัฐ ผ่านกรมชลประทานมีโครงการจะทำเขื่อนอีก 7 แห่ง รอบๆพื้นที่ โดยมีคลองมะเดื่ออยู่ในนั้น  เนื้อที่เกือบ 2,000 ไร่ ชาวบ้านนับล้านได้รับผลกระทบจากเขื่อนมาต่อเนื่องยาวนาน  พวกเขาไม่เพียงต่อสู้กับความยากลำบากที่ได้รับผลกระทบเท่านั้น แต่ยังต้องต่อสู้กับคำโกหกที่ภาครัฐเคยให้ไว้ครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า

4. WATSAKAN (ฝนแล้ง) - ประกาศิต สอดศรี 

ผู้ใหญ่บ้านของชุมชนในจังหวัดยโสธรได้เผชิญกับปัญหาภัยแล้งในฤดูฝน และต่อสู้กับรัฐบาล เพื่อหาวิธีนำน้ำมาช่วยเหลือชาวบ้านทำนาแต่ไม่สำเร็จ พวกเขาจึงจุดบั้งไฟขอน้ำจากพยาแถน แต่กลับกลายเป็นว่าพวกเขาต้องมาแก้ปัญหาจาก "ไฟ" ที่ตกลงมาจากฟ้า

5. TWILIGHT WITHOUT GHOSTS (ผีจากผ้าอ้อม) - ปณิธาน บุณฑริก

เมื่อตำนาน “ผีตากผ้าอ้อม” กำลังจะสูญหายไปเพราะการหลบซ่อนตัวของแมงมุมเนื่องจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและพฤติกรรมมนุษย์ที่ตัดขาดความสัมพันธ์ต่อสรรพสิ่งอื่นบนโลก “ผีจากผ้าอ้อม” ไม่เพียงบอกเล่าการสูญเสียสิ่งมีชีวิตและระบบนิเวศ แต่ยังโยงไปถึงการสาบสูญของวัฒนธรรมและเรื่องเล่าความเชื่อพื้นถิ่นที่งดงามด้วย

On January 25, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, CCCL participated in the screening of five short films at the event “Environment in the Embrace of Cinema”, part of the Mekong River Disaster Management Art Festival, held from January 25–27, 2025 at the Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Nong Khai City Hall, Former Governor’s Residence, Nong Khai.

CCCL Films screened at the Mekong River Disaster Management Art Festival included:

1. AVOCADO ON PANCAKES - Chinanang Tamrongtanakijakarn 

Jack and Rose secretly have an affair at their workplace. One day, the two go on a date at an Izakaya restaurant and start an argument about the world.

2. EVERYTHING IS FINE - Areeya Jitaree

3. THE WHOPPER (โกหกคำโต) - Weeraphan Thavorn

In the World Heritage area at the edge of Khao Yai National Park, the government, through the Royal Irrigation Department, plans to build seven more dams around the area, including Khlong Madeu, covering nearly 2,000 rai. Millions of local residents have been affected by the dams for a long time. They are not only struggling with the hardships caused by these projects, but also fighting against the repeated lies told by the authorities.

4. WATSAKAN (ฝนแล้ง) - Pakasit Sordsri

In Yasothon Province, village leaders grapple with drought during the rainy season, urging the government for water to support farming. Unsuccessful in their plea, they resort to launching rockets, seeking assistance from Phaya Than. However, they unexpectedly find themselves confronting the challenge of 'fire' falling from the sky.

5. TWILIGHT WITHOUT GHOSTS (ผีจากผ้าอ้อม) - Panitarn Boontarig

The myth of "Phee-Tak-Pah-Aom" (Nappy Ghosts) is vanishing due to the spiders immigration and human disconnection with other species. TWILIGHT WITHOUT GHOSTS portrays loss of lives and ecosystems that impacts on the dissappearance of culture and beautiful folktales.
