Chaela Tordillo is an alumna of University of the Philippines Film Institute. She currently works for an online news program.

Her short film "Old Times" won Best Film in Mga Kwento ng Klima Short Films 2023. She has directed a number of short films during her undergraduate years, and worked as production intern for several full-length projects.
