Marc Aziz Ressang
Marc Aziz Ressang is a Dutch photographer and filmmaker based in Asia.
Coming from an Indonesian-European family background, his interest lies in the fraught histories of places and the impact they have on its historical and contemporary inhabitants.
As an artist constantly on the move, his work is characterized by a thoughtful curiosity of peoples’ surroundings. The notion of home and identity form a critical element in his visual artwork.
