ในอดีต ชุมชนลาดพร้าวเคยเป็นชุมชนที่สะอาดและเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม แต่ในปัจจุบันนั้นเต็มไปด้วยขยะลอยเกลื่อนเต็มคลอง ส่งกลิ่นเหม็นฟุ้งไปทั่ว การทำงานอาสาเก็บขยะในลำคลองอาจเป็นเพียงการแก้ปัญหาสั้นๆ ที่ปลายเหตุ แต่กลุ่มคนอาสาก็ทำด้วยความหวังว่าจะได้เห็นคลองลาดพร้าวกลับมาใสสะอาดอีกครั้ง
Ladprao canal, once clean, is now full of waste. For the volunteers who wake up every day to remove the trash from the canal, they have high hopes that one day the canal will be clean and unpolluted as in the old days.

ปณิธาน บุณฑริก เกิดปี 2536 ที่กรุงเทพมหานคร เขาจบการศึกษาจาก ภาควิชานิเทศศิลป์ สาขาภาพยนตร์และดิจิทัลมีเดียจากคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง หลังจากเรียนจบได้เริ่มทำงานภาพยนตร์โฆษณาในฐานะ ผู้กำกับอิสระ และครีเอทีฟ รวมถึงยังทำโปรเจคภาพยนตร์สั้นเข้าร่วมในเทศกาลนานาชาติ เช่น เทศกาล International Thai Film Festival, Indie Shorts Awards, Sweden Film Awards, Venice Shorts Film Awards, Asian Cinematography Awards, CCCL Film Festival, One Earth Awards, และ The 60 Second Film Festival เป็นต้น
Panitarn Boontarig was born in 1993. He graduated from the School of Architecture, Art, and Design at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. After graduating, he began working in commercials as an independent and creative director and has been producing short films which were selected for international festivals such as International Thai Film Festival, Indie Shorts Awards, Sweden Film Awards, Venice Shorts Film Awards, Asian Cinematography Awards, CCCL Film Festival, One Earth Awards, and the 60 Second Film Festival
